Jennie's POV:
I frown. Chaeyoung?
"Who's Chaeyoung?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Ah...Uhmmm...I-"
"Who is she?" I ask again as Jungkook seems to not know English all of a sudden.
What's with him? Is she her ex or something? He's seriously sweating right now and nervousness is visible in his face.
"Yah, are you still okay?" I ask again as he's acting really weird already.
"Ah--hehehe,y-you know w-what, I f-forgot who is she all of a s-sudden ha-ha," he replied awkwardly.
Huh?
Now this is making me more curious.
"What are you saying? Who is she?" I asked, more serious this time.
"Crap...So stupid of you Jungkook," I heard him whispered to himself.
"Yah, answer me!" this guy is irritating me already.
Seconds of silents until,
He sighed heavily as he close his eyes.
"I guess it's too late to cover up for it," he stated as soon as he opens his eyes. His voice got deeper, sounding serious than ever before.
Okay, this is making me nervous all of a sudden.
"But promise me, this is just between us Jennie, you can't tell Lisa about this,"
"Huh? Why is--"
"I don't have the right to tell you things about her, but since you're insisting, you need to promise me,
So promise me Jen,"
Jungkook getting this serious is something I have never imagine.
This is terrifying me.
What is it about Chaeyoung that I need to promise Jungkook that--wait, can it be? Can this Rosie be Lisa's-- but no, that would be impossible right? I mean--I don't think so.
Ugh! Gosh this is frustrating! I'm just gonna do it!
"I promise,
Now tell me, who is she?"
I ask with more curiosity than before as I could feel my heart beating faster.
What am I getting nervous for?
And for the second time, Jungkook sighed before saying,
"Chaeyoung is...
Chaeyoung is Lisa's first love,
the first girl who broke Lisa's heart,
the love of her love before you came into her life."
I don't know why, but something about the name Chaeyoung made me feel unease.
A feeling of unguard, or unsafe perhaps.
Something that I couldn't contemplate.
