“I met this girl. I think I like her.”

“Why do you like her, Hunt?”

“She sang to me.”

During our phone call last night Hunter mentioned meeting a girl who sang to him. When I asked where he met her, he lied. I know he was talking about ‘the hooded girl’. I know he was talking about me.

He said to me last night when we were in the woods ‘I miss her singing’.

I have decided I am going to sing for him. But not just in front of him. In front of the entire school.

I have only ever sung in front of him and my parents.

I walked into my bathroom, turning the light on.

While my straightener heated up, I put on some mascara to bring out my blue eyes and make my lashes look longer.

My skin is very pale. Like vampire pale. It goes nicely with my hair and eyes though.

Once the straightener was hot enough, I ran it through my hair a couple of times.

After washing my face, brushing my teeth and doing my normal morning ritual, I went to get dressed.

My wardrobe is big. And I mean BIG.

I went in a picked a pair of pink high waisted shorts and a plain blue bralet top to go with it.

After grabbing my phone and car keys, I headed downstairs.

“Morning mom.” I told my mother who was sitting on the counter eating cookie dough. “Why are you eating cookie dough?”

“Sweetie, I have something to tell you. Since your father is away on a business trip I will tell you myself.” She sighed, patting the counter next to her.

I went and sat on the counter as well. “What is it, mom?”

“Honey, I’m having another baby.” She smiled slightly, waiting for a reaction.

I gasped. “You mean I’m going to be a big sister?” I jumped up in excitement.

“Yes and you’re also going to be late for school if you don’t leave soon.” She told me.

“See you later, mom.” I kissed her cheek and skipped outside to my car.

My car is a red 57 Chevy.
