I dont wanna

I wake up from a good slumber. Maybe the best since mum.

I get up and stretch and see Austin staring at me. I cover my junk realizing I'm in the nude.

"I've seen it before" Austin laughs slumping back into the pillows. I roll my eyes and go over to start putting on clothes.

"I saw that scar on your thigh" he says

I sigh sitting down on the bed. I should stop avoiding the inevitable.

"Yeah. I know"

He puts his arm over my shoulder but I shrug it off. Here goes nothing "When I was five, my dad abused my mom then stuck a knife in my thigh." I wince at the memory. "Then after my brother died....my mom just had no hope I guess."

Austin wipes the tears that I didn't know formed. "My brother was only sixteen."

Austin hugs me tighter. "How could they both just leave me with step-monster?"

"But you have me now" Austin says

I look up at him all teary eyed "You'll just leave too" I mutter before looking down.

He tilts my head up with his finger. "I wouldn't leave even if it'd save the world"

"Can I tell you something?" I ask

"Anything"

I sat motionless for a moment. "I found them both dead. Kyle on a noose and my mum with slit wrists"

Austin frowns "I'm so sorry for you"

I shake my head no "Don't be."

He dries my tears a bit then finally I stop crying.

"What do you wanna do on the last day in Miami?" Austin smiles

I shrug. "I heard the restaurant food shit here is good"

"Okay" He smiles

The guys want to go to the beach on the last day so me and Austin walk down the streets of Miami, holding hands. I jump up and down when I see hot topic.

"Dude chill out" Austin laughs

"I don't wanna" I smile pulling him into the store. Sometimes I feel like a child but I am okay with it. I run into the store with Austin lagging behind. I walk to the wall of band tees and find a Blink-182 shirt. I smile at the remembrance of the shower scene a few months ago.

"Blink-182" Austin smiles, god his smile can light up a room. "I remember that"

I laugh a bit, in a teenage girly way. "Little ginger princess" he smiles "My little ginger princess"

"Austie." I recollect

"I love you"

"I love you too"

We go to a small pizza joint that was supposed to be really good.

"You gotta little bit of pizza right... there" I smile rubbing some pizza sauce on his face.

"You're gonna get it now" He says starting out the full out pizza brawl, ending in us getting kicked out. Well on the brightest of sides we got to eat almost a full pizza for free.

We laugh so hard our stomachs hurt and mostly just hang out walking around town. He finally takes me down to the beach to watch the sunset.

"It's been a good day" I mumble

"It has" he confirms and we sit in silence for our final day.
