CHAPTER 1

Dean's p.o.v

  "Alpha,the report of rogues on the border is increasing drastically,they haven't tried to enter our land so far" my beta Michael,was saying to me.
The rogues have been spotted on the border for the past 6 months , they haven't made any attempt on ivading our land .That's confusing, rogues are known for causing trouble,so for them to be spotted without picking up a fight sounds suspicious.
"But why will they pass without picking up a fight "I said to him
"We don't know alpha,but if they are planning something, it's definitely big"

We have intensive training going on for the warriors,well it's not like we are a lazy pack.In fact we are one of the best.But rogues are not to be taken lightly.

"Make sure the warriors train hard and no rogue must leave the border ,bring them for interrogation or kill them if they prove too hard"
"Yes alpha"
"And how is Hailey "
"She's great and our pup is growing well and that means a lot of hard times for me.She is just so demanding" We both chuckle at that.
Michael is not just my beta but my best friend also,a brother from another mother.He just found his mate 3 months ago.And ever since, they've been inseparable.So much for the mate pull uhn.

I haven't introduced myself,have I?

Well,I'm Alpha Dean Warren,the alpha of
the Stone cold pack. I'm 25 years old and I've been the alpha since I was 18.
I haven't found my mate so that means this pack is without a luna,most wolves get bothered if they haven't found their mate but I am not. I see it as a distraction.
Don't get me wrong, I do care about my mate it's just that mate are weaknesses and I can't let anyone hurt my mate especially with this rogue problem . I just hope she is safe.

The rogue issue started 6 months ago, about twenty of them were spotted along the border,they were killed,not long after,there was a reported rouge attack on a family travelling to the next pack.

Ever since then ,we've doubled the border patrol.They haven't tried entering the land but we never can tell. Those things are cunning. 

The shrilling sound of my ringing phone brought me out of my thoughts
"Hello Dad....no....we caught sight of them but they haven't put off a fight yet......the warriors are training extra hard.... I'll make sure to call you,how's mum.....my regards and do have a lovely holiday....bye"

My parents are currently in Italy in the human world. I really don't know why they chose the place but they love it. My parents have been travelling from place to place,they said they need all the rest.
Hopefully I get to have that when I stop being alpha.

My grumbling stomach reminds me of food,I got up from my chair to the pack's kitchen.

I got to the kitchen only to find the one person I really am not in the mood to see now

"Look who we have here. O dearest alpha,why don't you come for a cup of coffee"Holly the pack's slut said to me.

Well to me she's just something I use to cool off tension, but she never realized it . She thinks I'm going to make her Luna or something. Any pack thay makes her their Luna is as good as dead.

"How may I be of help ,my highness"she said with that sickly sweet voice of hers leaning on the table to expose those fake silicon Breasts of hers.

Holly has always been used to cool off tension, tonight's not an exception

"How about tonight"I said standing up with my coffee in hands heading to my office

"Anytime alpha"
