Chapter 37 (*.*)

Hi guys! I'm backkkk! (guess who's back,  back again) whoop.whooop!!! okay enough of me being a wierdo sorry chapter time!

Tris POV

My alarm clock blares the noise that I've learned to hate. I open my eyes and groggily sit up, glancing at the annoying clock to check the time before shutting it off. I slowly stand up and walk, more like stumble, to my bureau. I slowly pull out my clothes and walk to the bathroom and get ready. I can't seem to shake my tiredness this morning.

Once I'm all dressed and ready I step out of the bathroom and see Tobias is not in bed. I look around and don't see him anywhere in the room. Where is he? I wander our apartment slowly,  still half asleep before checking the last place, the kitchen.

Tobias sits at the table, eating pancakes and bacon. I smile at the thought of him making the breakfast. He's so sweet. I sit down at the table with my plate of food and the only thing I need right now, coffee. As we eat we match the fights. We decide to go with;

Anna-Lily

Katrina-Elise

Meghan-Isaac

Melony- Kaitlyn

Terrence-Brad

Connor-Brandon

Joey-Anthony

The fights seem good and we've both eaten and gotten ready so we head down to the training room. Once we're at the training room we set up the guns and targets, we're cramming a lot of training in today. Before lunch we're teaching them to shoot and fight. After Lunch are the fights.

At 7:55 the initiates begin to file in, they all seem groggy like I was this morning. No one is late today,  which is good, I don't have to yell as much. I'm about to explain what we're doing when Tobiad pipes up. "Today, before lunch,  you will be learning how to shoot and fight, everyone grab a gun and stand in front of a target.  I will demonstrate how to properly shoot." He says with a cold voice.

The initiates all line up and begin to shoot.  Some people are clearly better than others, but the Amity seem to be struggling the most. I look around and see a boy named Brandon struggling. He looks as if he's doing it badly on purpose so I send Tobias over to help him instead of doing it myself. When he see's Tobias walk over,  instead of looking disappointed like I thought he would he looks happy. That's shocking. Tobias helps Brandom quickly and soon he's one of the best on the room. I have to admit, he has potential.  As Four walks away from Brandon I see Brandon staring at him. Do my eyes decieve me or is one of my male initiates checking out my fiancè?

The initiates all seem to have shootimg down in about 2 hours, not bad. We begin teaching them to fight after setting up the punching bags. It's simple teaching the punches and kicks so soon we are going around and giving tips to each Initiate individually. I just so happen to pass Brandon and I see he's struggling at a right hook, he must be left handed. "You need to put more force into your punches, use all your weight," I comment from behind him. He turns around quickly,  I obviously startled him. Before he turns around I swear I see his eyes flick to Four, just for an instant. 

"I have a question, " I say slowly. Brandon looks a little suprised that I'm asking him a question.  "Shoot." He says simply. His voice is deep but a lot more gentle than I would expect. "Did I see you checking out Four earlier?" I say with a smile. One thing I've learned from Christina is how to be direct. How to not dance around the thing that needs to be said.  Brandons face drops for a minute and he looks scared. "I-I uh hmm um I-I," he stutters. I swear I also hear him say 'fuck' before his little word trip up. "Don't tell anyone, please, please don't, " He says, looking down. I suddenly feel bad. "Hey, Brandon, it's fine, I mean he is reeeeaaaally hot, just between you and me," I say with a wink, dropping my strict instructer act, just for a minute. Brandon laughs and says, "Thanks Six, and more weight in my punches, got it.", and with that I walk away.

We're on the second fight of the day. Anna and Lily's fight went quickly. Anna wins and you can tell shes using her Erudite wit to win the fights. Were now on Katrina and Elise's fight. They both stand timidly in the ring, both of them too kind to take the first swing. "Today initiates." Tobias says and I laugh. Elise rolls her eyes and takes a great swing at Katrina's face. I hear a sickening crunch and all of a sudden blood is pouring out of Katrina's nose, ehich is bent at an odd angle. Fury enters Katrina's eyes and she kicks Elise to the ground, knocking the wind out of her and repeatedly kicks her in the head.

The fight is over when Elise collapses to the ground and is obviously out cold. I circle Katrina's name as Tobias gakes both girls to the infirmary.

I begin Meghan and Isaacs fight, which is mostly Isaac throwing punches and Meghan dodging. With an occasional hit on either side. I hear the training room door open an assume Tobias is back, but when I look over I don't see Tobias. I see something that brings fear and makes my heart pound at what feels like a million miles per hour...
