Dally's POV
I was sitting on the couch in Darry and Ponyboy's house drinking a beer. I wasn't too thrilled of this "party" that they were hosting. I was half tempted to go to Dingos when suddenly I saw Darry walk down the stairs, and he was holding a girl. I would have been confused as hell but after that rumble that just happened, anything could have happened and I still wouldn't have been completely with it. Darry then walked to the couch across from me and set the girl down. She really was a true beauty. She had light brown hair in a ponytail, long legs in nicely fitting jeans, and a pretty face lightly speckled with freckles. Then Ponyboy decided to introduce everyone to her, well everyone that she didn't already meet.
Ponyboy quickly went through names and when he said my name I slowly took a sip of my beer and put a tough look onto my face. She then looked at me and slightly blushed. At that, I gave her a slight smirk and raised an eyebrow. She then smirked back and slowly shook her head and turned to look at Soda, as if she knew what game I was trying to play with her.
"Hey, now that everyone knows everyone we should all go to the Dingo tomorrow," said Ponyboy.
"Yeah, and maybe have a few drinks too," I said and then took yet another drink of my beer.
"Yeah, and get yourself drunk and thrown out of the Dingo why don't ya," said Darry with an eye-roll.
Then everyone in the room started laughing, except for me.
"Well, this has been nice, but we better go now," said Dani.
"Yeah, I can't leave Kat home all alone for to much longer," said Max standing up. Then Darry ran over to her side.
"You still can't walk all by yourself. I'll help you," said Darry.
"No, I got it," said Max, and then she nudged his arm away and walked out of the house.
You could see it in the way that she walked that she still wasn't fully stable, but you could tell that she wanted to show off her independence. Shortly after max walked out all of the girls hugged us goodbye and then they left. I didn't know how I felt about this new girl gang and the fact that they were stronger than us. But one thing was for sure, Max wasn't going to be leaving my head tonight.
Max's POV
I shakily stood up and was suddenly hit with dizziness and pain in my side. Of course, I was in a ton of pain, but I didn't want to look like I was helpless. So, when Darry offered to help me I nudged him away and walked out of the house. Once I walked out of the door I almost tripped on the stairs of the porch. Then out of nowhere came Two-Bit.
"Hey now, don't fall down the stairs," he said smiling, then he came over to me, gently grabbed my arm, and walked me to the passenger seat of my car.
"Uh, thanks for that," I said.
"Anytime." he smiled down at me and leaned against the car, "You know, you're a pretty good fighter. You took out quite a few Socs, heck, you took out more than Dally, and he's our best fighter."
"Well, what can I say. I guess girls are more than just a toy or a pretty face," I said smirking at him. I felt really nauseous and I didn't want to be rude, but I really just wanted to leave right now and go to sleep.
"Well, I--" Two-Bit started but was then cut off.
"Alright, ladies let's go home. I'm as tired as a hibernating bear," said Jess.
"I.. uhh, I guess I'll see you tomorrow night at the Dingo then," said Two-Bit. Then he closed my car door and walked back inside the house. After I put my seat belt on and the car full of girls took off to our house.
