69 FAMILY DINNER

We sat there and talked to Lee about what had happened since he left and he apologized for making us move because of his stupidity.  He also apologized for Beth and Rachel trying to make our lives hell.  He admitted he got to see my video dressing down that girl and he loved it. We had a good time talking to Lee, and he couldn't apologize more for what he had done to us and the fact that he treated women like a piece of meat.  He was ashamed he had become the type of guy he hated.  He also admitted he was also embarrassed that he did not completely have control of his actions due to his alcohol and prescription drug addiction. 

Noah and I did not realize that we had been there for over two hours but we wanted to give Lee a chance, and we couldn't help but slip into an old routine.  "Shelly babe I know how much you love my brother but please don't visit him without me until I am ready."  "Same to you big boy.  Don't worry I won't.  I may have forgiven him, but I still don't trust him one hundred percent."  "Ok.  Thanks love you, baby."  "Love you too what are we doing tonight."  "The rents have a family dinner planned, and then we head back to mine for the night.  As for tomorrow, you are all mine I have a whole day planned for us."  "Ok, do I get any hint."  "Nope, I want it to be a surprise.  I will tell you this even though we broke up tomorrow will always be special to me."  "Why is that baby?"  "Because that was the day you officially became mine.  Sure the night of the kissing booth will always be special to us since it was our first kiss and your first kiss ever but tomorrow marks the anniversary when I made you mine."

We head into the house and June yells out to get dressed my dad, and Mathew wants steaks.  As I come down in a dress that June had bought me that day Noah couldn't help but gasp.  It was a red A-line with a satin lining with a lace overlay, knee length, cap sleeves made of lace.  He walks up to me wraps me in his arms "maybe I should rethink keeping you in blue because damn baby you look H.O.T. hot."  I bury my head into his neck.  "I love the fact I can still make my baby blush." "You're incorrigible."  He just lifted my head and lightly brushed his lips against mine since the fam was watching us.  Crazy Brad had to take up where Lee left off yelling "that is just plain gross you two make me gag."  I could hear gagging  noises from Brad and couldn't help but laugh.  "Just you wait, little bro when you get a girlfriend, and I bust you two kissing well let's just say payback."

As we all sit down to our family dinner, I couldn't help but miss Lee.  I was hoping that by the time Noah and I returned for my birthday if we even did he would be home.  Noah keeps talking about us staying in Boston and having a party there before returning home for the wedding, but I can't help but feel it would be wrong.  The waiter walks up "Hi I am Chad what can I get you to drink pretty lady?"  I see my dad and Noah glare at him, and I couldn't help but giggle "I would like diet coke."  As I am sitting there listening to him get the drink orders from the rest of the family I remember how Noah decided to tease me the last night in Boston by flirting with our waitress to annoy me.  Plus I remember how aggressive he is in bed when another man hits on his girl and I don't stop it right away.  When the guy comes back, he places the drinks down around the table and leaves mine for last.  As he set's it down he leans in and whispers "I remember you my sister Matilda played on the Buckner soccer team.  Let's have fun with Flynn."  I giggle again and smack at him "you're terrible.  That tickled now stop."  Noah growls next to me and places his hand on my thigh letting it slide up a little on my leg under my dress.  June is looking at me with a raised eyebrow as I order my steak and potatoes with a side salad while Chad places his hand on my shoulder.  I pull out my phone while Noah is busy staring at Chad and text June.

Me:  Don't worry Chad's sister played on my team he wants to tease Noah.  If I remember correctly, Chad is gay, and Noah mentored him when he was a freshman.  

June:  You know when he finds out he is going to make you pay.

Me:  Yep, but this is fun.

When June starts to chuckle, and everyone looks at her funny, she shows Mathew and my dad our texts, and they snort and shake their heads.
