You saw when she hit me
You saw that I cried
The tears were dripping down my cheeks
You knew that she lied
It can't be called an accident
You just didn't care
The blood was dripping down my cheeks
You saw me laying there
You watched her hand as it collided
Collided against my skin
The betrayal was dripping down my cheeks
You just watched her grin
You heard me wimp in pain
You left me in the dark
The hate was dripping down my cheeks
We had a fire, now we don't have a spark
But I am okay
What you did was fine
The confusion was dripping down my cheeks
I realized you were never mine
It just wasn't meant to be
You showed me your inner person
The bitterness was dripping down my cheeks
I dragged away your curtain
I have forgiven you
But for my own sake
The acceptance is dripping down my cheeks
Enough to form a lake
Forgiveness is letting go
But I shall not forget
This time, my cheeks are dry
It has been weeks since we last met
