This is to fear
You hold on tight
You go to bed with me
Every night
This is to pain
You are my greatest enemy
But then when you leave again
I can't remember how you hurt me
This is to joy
You make me complete
Too bad you don't last
You just can't take the heat
This is to regret
You constantly remind me
That life would have been better
If I saw while I could still see
This is to loneliness
You hit when I'm on my own
But sometimes with a thousand friends
I've never felt more alone
This is to anger
You make me so blind
I say things that should never be said
I completely lose my mind
This is to sadness
You put water in my eyes
You lack all sympathy
You're a criminal in disguise
This is to love
You keep me sane
Without your sunshine
There would only be rain
This is to giving up
Our stars won't ever be crossed
I will not let you catch me
No matter the cost
