monday came and she still had no idea of what happened to yukhei.

nobody in the school did.

very funny.

it was funny to him that he purposely made yukhei miss the first flight so he could take the second.

like he said, it had to be done.

it was her second period in school - math.

she's sleeping again, he smiled at her sleeping face.

he'd break anyone who dares to disrupt her tranquil state.

and one of those people that falls into the 'anyone' radar is her friend jeong hadam.

now, jeong hadam wasn't eunsol's best friend.

but they were pretty close.

close enough to know eachother's secrets for hadam to share it with others.

he changes his view from eunsol to hadam who had history.

she was whispering to another close friend and seatmate, han chaejin.

"she went on a date with yukhei!?" chaejin whispers too loudly for hadam's liking.

"shut up, and yes she did." hadam scoffed, "i mean a pretty face plus an attention-seeking personality? it'd be hard to keep guys away, eh?"

"i honestly cannot believe that after hanging around with jaemin and hyunjin, she'll go for yukhei next." chaejin shook her head.

"to be honest," hadam sighs, "she kind of acts like a slut. that sounds bad but whatever."

"it's the truth anyway." chaejin defended hadam's words.

eunsol gets herself caught in a bunch of rumors that are not even true.

she was an amazing girl so it's natural her friends are going to be jealous.

-

when second period was over, everybody went to their lockers to pick out their books.

this was usually the time where separated friends get to meet.

hadam met with her other friends to spill more dirt behind eunsol's back.

she had no conscience, no remorse.

she freely does this because karma has not played its tricks on her yet.

"she told me she wants to fuck your boyfriend." hadam points at one of her friends.

"w-what? no.."

"but yes. i'm telling you this so you could be warned." hadam says, "and stay away from her. she's a backstabber."

"is it true that jaemin broke his nose trying to do something for her?"

"oh it's very true. poor jaemin had to suffer."

"i didn't know she was like this!"

hadam nodded, "she hides it very well. she's a snake-"

"hadam?" a familiar voice calls and hadam turns around.

"eunsol!" hadam squeaked, both surprised and embarrassed.

"if you're going to say something bad, at least have enough dignity to say it to my face." eunsol spat with teary eyes and she began to walk away.

"eunsol, wait!" hadam follows her.

she continues to distance herself from hadam but the girl kept on persisting and followed her.

"eunsol, stop!" hadam shouts when eunsol walked out of the school and into the field, "where the fuck are you even going?"

this is absurd.

"anywhere that doesn't involve you breathing near me." she spat.

that's my girl, he nods.

"why are you even following me?"

"to finally talk with you!" hadam tells her, "i am sick and tired of your personality! you always play the victim!" she says, "like right now! like, look at you! walking away from me like you're so perfect when i'm trying to talk!"

"this has nothing to do with that! and don't you give me that reason because you know exactly why i'm walking away from you!" eunsol lets her tears drop from her eyes, hurt at what her friend told her.

he frowned, she made her cry.

"eunsol, stop being such a bi-" hadam's sentence was cut short by her own screaming when she was hit by a bus when they reached the street.

eunsol stood there in shock before kneeling down and looking at hadam's distorted figure, screming for help.

everybody always forgets that he is karma too.
