she found herself sitting on a hospital couch, waiting for the doctor to tell her what's going to happen to jaemin.
he watches closely.
"he's fine." was the doctor's statement after he exited the part of the room where jaemin's bed was located. it was also called the 'examining' half since the room was divided into two; one for examining and one for loved ones to wait and see what kind of physical fracture she/he had gotten.
the room was separated by a curtain but he could see jaemin's silhouette lying on the bed.
"but he's attained a broken nose. i find it amazing how he just easily fell onto his face." the doctor says.
"it's more amazing how he managed to break his nose from tripping over nothing." she sighed, "what's going to happen to him?"
"well, he'll need plastic surgery so he could regain his nose bridge back."
he snickers.
"it was that bad?"
"it was a hard fall."
she decides to stay in the hospital to wait for jaemin's parents. when they arrive, she made her way back home.
"what a joker." she whispered to herself during the walk. "i hope he'll be fine."
one of the things that was so fascinating about her that actually drives him to insanity was that he could not understand her.
at all.
you should be thankful i didn't kill him, he thinks.
she walks through an alleyway for a shortcut towards her house.
but she was faced with a problem.
"hey, you!" a groggy man calls to her as she was passing by.
she decides to ignore him.
"don't ignore me when i'm talking to you!" his voice was raspy as he neared her and grab her wrists.
he sighs in jealousy.
because of her, death is always busy.
in fact, he has never been busier.
