"Autumn." I hear a whisper and my shoulder being gently shook. "Autumn?" The voice goes again.

"Don't do it like that, do it like this." I hear a louder voice say. "Autumn." My shoulders are shook violently. "Autumn." The voice goes again this time even louder and sharper, I get shook about harder.

"What?" I mumble still not opening my eyes. I was sleeping a couple of minutes ago until I was rudely woken up.

"Come on, me, you and Tan, we're going to go to Costa and have a girly chat." The voice says still shaking me.

"Go away Zoe." I groan, I should of known it was her. She always used to wake me up like this when I used to sleep at hers when we were younger.

"No, come one it's morning." She says.

"But I have a headache." I say finally opening my eyes to blinding sun light. Zoe and Tanya are both stood over me.

"Coffee will help." Tanya says. "We need to talk to you about something."

Zoe nods agreeing. "As soon as possible." She says.

"Fine." I say chucking the blanket off from over my body. I'm in Alfie's living room, I must of fallen asleep here last night. I don't know what I have done to deserve being woken up so early mind you. "Give me 20 minutes, I need a shower." I say.

Zoe checks her watch. "I'm timing you." She says and Tanya shakes her head smiling before they both walk out. I haven't been this hungover in a long time.

(Outfit)

I check the time on my phone when I get out of the shower. It's 9 o'clock what did I do to deserve to be woken up at this hour in the morning. I hate mornings, they are hell. I step out the bathroom clean, dressed and fresh. I can't be bothered with make-up this morning. I walk downstairs to find Tanya, Jim and Zoe sat on the couches talking. Zoe looks up from their conversation. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah." Say getting my coat off the peg in the hall.

Tanya and Zoe get up off the couches. "I don't know how long we will be." Tanya says to Jim. "We'll probably be back at lunchtime."

"Okay, don't get lost." Jim says as we walk out of the house.

"What did I do to deserve being woken at this hideous  hour?" I ask as we step out into the fresh morning air, I'm a little worried that I offended someone last night while I was drunk.

"Its not that early." Zoe says. "It's like 5 past 9."

"Exactly!" I say.

Tanya smiles. "I'm guessing you're not a morning person." She says.

"Whoever invented mornings was clearly best friends with the devil." I say.

"I don't think anyone invented mornings." Zoe says.

"What do you mean?" I frown confused, of course someone invented mornings, everything has to of been invented.

"I get what you mean." Tanya says. "It's like saying someone invented years."

"What?" I ask even more confused than before.

"It doesn't matter." Zoe and Tanya both sigh at the same time. We've made it to costa now. I open the door and step in, the smell of coffee hits me and I take a giant sniff. Coffee is always a good hangover cure.

"What you going to get?" Zoe asks.

"Just a coffee." I say fishing around in my bag for my purse.

"It's alright, I'll pay. After all I did drag you hear at this hideous hour." Zoe says smiling.

I smile back. "Alright, thanks." Tanya and I find a table by the window while Zoe gets the drinks. I look out the window and watch the street. It's almost deserted this morning, but then who gets up at 9 on New Year's Day?

"Has Zoe always been this lively in the morning?" Tanya asks.

I nod. "She was always the first one up at sleepovers." I smile remembering how she always used to wake everyone up when she woke up.

"One coffee." Zoe says handing me a cup. "One Tea." She says giving Tanya hers. "And one strawberry creamy cooler." She says taking he own drink and sitting down next to Tanya.

"Thanks." I say blowing on the coffee to try and cool it. "Anyway, what was it you wanted to talk to me about?" I ask.

Tanya and Zoe both exchange a look, and Tanya nods at Zoe. Oh shit, what have I done? "You and Joe." Zoe says bluntly.

Oh. "What about me and Joe?" I ask innocently pretending I have no idea what they are both on about.

"We saw you kiss." Tanya raises her eyebrows at me.

Of course, the kiss at midnight. I knew it was a bad idea. "Are you an item?" Zoe asks excitedly.

I sigh. "I don't know." I shrug, how do I explain an relationship to them I don't understand myself. "It's confusing."

" But it's not the first time you kissed?" Zoe asks, she is determined to get information from me.

"Well, no not exactly." I say carefully.

"I knew it!" Zoe jumps up. "I told you I thought there was something going on between them Tan. I knew he likes you!" Zoe says. She seems so excited by the whole thing.

Tanya laughs then looks to me. "You are cute together." She says.

"But we're not together that's the problem." I blush when I realize what I've said.

"So you like him too!" Zoe squeals, she's getting even more excited. Tanya squeals too, this is so embarrassing.

"Kind of." I shrug trying to hide my burning cheeks by taking a sip of coffee.

"I ship it!" Tanya says.

"Same!" Zoe says, I'm a little surprised at how excited they both are. "We need to get you together."

Tanya nods. "We need to come up with a plan."

"Guys." I say. "We're not 12 anymore, we're too old to just go around and fiddle with people's relationship." I don't want them to get involved, I can see this going wrong already.

"No, it will be fine. Trust us." Zoe says sipping her drink.

Tanya nods. "I'm going to make it my mission to get you 2 together by the end of January."

Zoe nods. "Then you can get married and we can be sister-in-laws and it will be perfect." She grins at me. Oh god, why do I have a bad feeling about this?
