5 weeks before.
Black was sitting in a concrete walled cell completely devoid of absolutely any color whatsoever. To him the future seemed somehow bleaker than the already deafeningly dreary room. Black sighed and looked in a cracked mirror, Black was a large humanoid male, covered in haphazard black leather straps that served as his clothing and wearing a black leather gimp mask that was weathered and worn down. But despite his frighteningly intimidating appearance, behind those crimson eyes laid someone who was scared and frightened of the cold hostile world he was in, one in which he felt alone.
Black never chose to be a outcast, nor did he ask to be forced to compete in Twisted Metal to assassinate Calypso. But they wouldn't listen to Black so they locked him up. That's when a group of scientists in white lab coats came up to his cell, they were accompanied by duo of heavily armored guards who wore strange odd symbols on their shoulders.
"Black. Is it?"
One of the scientists asked Black, adjusting his spectacles. His glasses reflected the light above from the bulbs, said reflection obscuring the eyes behind the spectacles.
"Yes'm.."
Black said lowly and sheepishly, he hung his head in shame. He was seen as a freak by many and he felt like somehow that was all his fault.
"Would you please stand up? Slowly. No sudden movements please."
The scientist clutched a clipboard in one hand, it held a few random papers. In the other was a plain pen. Black sighed and pushed himself up from the bench to a standing position. He was much taller than them and it was made very clear once he stood up. The Guards raised their weapons warily, keeping their aim trained on the giant.
The Guards began to get anxious, they were afraid of what Black could do, or rather could be capable of doing, someone of his size could be very dangerous especially if they were to suddenly go berserk without warning. They motioned for him to crouch down and Black did as he was ordered. They placed a shock collar on his neck firmly, clicking it closed with a click. They grabbed Blacks wrists and placed shock cuffs on them too. Then chains were attached to the three articles of imprisonment.
The scientists began to walk down the hall and the guards pulled the chain that was connected to Black, guiding him down the hallway with them.
"So, tell us about yourself. 'Black'."
One of the scientists held the clipboard ready to take notes and clicked the pen's top while the other scientist would ask Black questions.
"You.. Wanna know about Black?"
Black was a bit surprised. No one had ever asked to know about him before. He never expected them to. He assumed everyone just jumped to conclusions and assumptions. That's what they always did anyways.
"Yes, I wanna know about 'Black', where did you come from?"
The scientist with the clipboard pressed the pen against the paper. Eager to begin writing down notes. While the other one listened with attention and was intrigued.
"Black come from.. Come from.. Black don't know.."
Black looked down at the floor. Sighing softly.
Deep down he was a mystery even to himself. The scientist with the clipboard wrote some notes down onto the paper."That's just fine 'Black'. What do you know about yourself? Anything is fine."
The scientist gave a glance back towards Black. He inspected and analysed up and down Black, this was definitely a strange looking person. Big, bulky, full of muscles yet he had a withdrawn and timid personality. Yet, this could just be a ruse.
