Dr. Dian walked down the hall to a door which had a sign beside it which read "Dr. Walter Rose, 05 Council member." Dr. Dian knocked on the door calmly. A voice called from inside.
"Come in."
Dr. Dian opened the door and walked into the room, it was a small office with a brown desk, a red chair and a few paintings. Papers were cluttered on the desk with a vague sense of organization. Dr. Dian sat down.
"I see you've been keeping busy huh Dr. Rose?"Dr. Dian brushed her brown bangs out of her eyes. Dr. Rose was writing on a form.
"M'hm, very much busy. We could secure some supplies for that offshore oil rig. They've been dying for some better toolboxes. They keep breaking them."
Dr. Dian looked at one of the papers on Dr. Rose's desk. It was talking about the events of yesterday. The D-Class with the gun and such.
"I've come to speak about the experiment of yesterday-"Dr. Rose interrupted Dr. Dian.
"Is it about the smuggled weapon? We're adding more measures now."
Dr. Dian sighed softly.
"No, it's about SCP-8000. 'Black', I don't get why the instances of 939 reacted that way to him."
Dr. Dian held a clipboard which held some notes she took of the experiment.
"It was quite strange I know, but it all comes down to basic animal behavior. The biggest one is always the pack leader. Black simply became their leader because of his large size. It's all really simple but- It could also potentially mean they might have to be reclassified to Euclid."
Dr. Rose finished writing on the form and placed it aside. Dr. Rose looked stressed out, his dirty blond hair being all frizzy and such and his glasses smudged up. Despite all of this Dr. Rose had a calm and collected demeanor.
"Yeah. SCP-8000 however needs more testing, I suggest a brain scan"
Dr. Dian suggested a brain scan or a M.R.I might provide more insight into Black.
Dr. Rose laughed
"How could we fit 8000 into a M.R.I? Unless we bring in some bigger one it could be plausible. Thank you Dr. Dian. Oh and Dr. Dian, how are you holding up?"
Dr. Dian had gotten up and was approaching the door, he turned around.
"I could ask you the same thing. I'm doing fine Dr. Rose."
Dr. Dian flashed Dr. Rose a playful grin before she left the office. Dr. Rose smiled softly before turning around in his chair. He opened a drawer and took out a paper which was heavily marked out with sharpies. He adjusted his glasses. The paper read "CEO Markel Harrison has died, unknown cause. Suspected foul play."
Dr. Rose took a marker before looking at the sentence. He hesitated. Should he keep the CEO's death a secret? He figured that if he didn't mark it out the structure of the whole foundation could come tumbling down yet, the same would happen if he did. It was a catch 22 kind of dilemma. Dr. Rose sighed and took some scissors cutting the sentence out and placing it someplace safe. He turned back to his desk before burying his head into his hands, sighing deeply.
Dr. Rose twirled a pen between his fingers before putting it away. He clasped his hands and stared at the door. He felt something was coming, something bad. But he couldn't tell what exactly it was. But it was coming, he would be ready for the storm. This rose had thorns.
