Black's cell was cleaned of the blood and the mess of yesterday's accident. The D-Class fortunately survived and they were sent to a infirmary, or at least that's what Black was told.. But still Black was still left with scars. Scars on the inside that he will never forget.
The scientists were still studying Black through the cameras within his cell but not much else. Black sighed and looked up at the ceiling. He wished he had something to do instead of looking at those four dull walls for what seemed like eternity. Black looked at the door. He felt horrible about how the D-Class was hurt, he felt like it was his fault. Despite how people may see Black and how they treat him, deep down he knows that there just has to be some good out there in the world.
A female scientist went to viewing window that was connected to Black's containment cell. There was a section in the middle that allowed communication.
"SCP-8000?"
The Female Scientist held a clipboard.
"My name is Dr. Dian. I'm here to ask you a few questions. Would you mind coming closer to the window?"
Black stood up. Walking over to a small plastic chair. He sat down in the plastic chair and it squeaked softly as it was much too small for him. He looked at Dr. Dian quietly and waited for her to speak.
Black's eyes were tried and weary, he barely slept last night. Especially since a SCP breached and he had to listen to the sounds of gunfire and screams.
"How are you feeling?"
Dr. Dian looked attentively at Black.
"Black feel.. Black not feel good, not sick just.. Black feel sad about yesterday. Is Black really a monster?"
Dr. Dian seemed a bit sympathetic but still had a sense of professionalism to her.
"It's not really my place to define what's a monster. Monster is a vague term and can mean many things. Like a adjective. From what I can tell and if this puts you at ease. No, you're not a monster. Yet you possibly could be. That is what we're trying to find out. I understand yesterday must've been traumatic to you but you need to tell me exactly how you felt during the situation. It's for a psychological evaluation."
Black nodded and groaned softly.
"Black felt panicky at first 'cause it remind Black of what happened when people first saw Black. They freaked out. So Black try to calm him down but.. Man still freak out and call me bad things. Then he fell.. Black felt angry at self because Black feel like Black could've done something! But then Black.. Black wonder if he really is a monster.. Can a monster be redeemed Dr. Dian?"
Dr. Dian was a bit surprised by such a deep question. She also was vastly intrigued by how Black's personality was.
"Yes. That's why we have Thamuials, SCPs that help us catch the Bad SCPs. So to speak."
Black nodded in acknowledgement.
"So. If Black act good and you can see just how good Black can be.. You will help Black?"
Dr. Dian nodded in confirmation.
"Yes. That's all for today."
Dr. Dian began to turn around but Black stopped her.
"Wait- Doctor?"
Dr. Dian turned back around.
"Yes?"
"Can Black have coloring book?"
Dr. Dian tilted her head slightly and raised a eyebrow, curious yet puzzled. Black mumbled something under his breath and fiddled with his hands.
"Black want coloring book because- Black like the colorfulness."
Dr. Dian nodded and slid one plus a pack of crayons through a slot in the wall.
"Thank you!"
Black said excitedly and walked away.
"You're welcome SCP-8000."
