During the night the trio spent the night in the Jeep. Dr. Rose however didn't sleep. He sat there thinking, thinking of what will happen, what is going to happen and what won't happen. After spending a sleepless night thinking nonstop, Dr. Rose was interrupted by the sounds of Bell yawning as she woke up.

"Good Morning Mr. Rose."

Bell stretched, yawning.

"Good Morning Bell- I mean 053."

Dr. Rose corrected himself but Bell understood.

"You don't have to call me 053, My friends call me Bell. But you can call me Bell too!"

Dian began to wake up. Yawning as well. She sat up and stretched, she wiped her eyes and brushed her messy brown bangs out of her eyes. The Morning sunlight shined through the mist outside, lighting up the inside of the Jeep with a warm glow. The Air was chilly yet it was tolerable.

"Good Morning Rose."

Dr. Dian yawned once more. Dr. Rose opened the glove compartment.

"Good Morning Dian, did you sleep well?"

Dr. Rose was looking for a knife or something so he could at least make some splints in case anyone got injured. Plus knives serve as multi-purpose tools for just about anything. Dr. Rose opened the Jeep's driver side door and stepped out. His rubber boot squeaking on the wet dew covered grass.

"Yeah, I mean it could've been much better but It was pretty good sleep, especially since we got shot at yesterday."

Dr. Rose nodded and took off his lab coat, wiping it gently on the dew covered grass to clean it. Making sure not to get any dirt or grass stains on it.

"We made it out. But we aren't in the clear just yet. They'll be searching for us."

Dr. Rose put the coat back on and looked around when suddenly Dian shot up with realization gasping

"The Alpha Warheads! Why haven't they been activated yet?"

Dr. Rose turned to face Dr. Dian. Site 19 had been outfitted with two nuclear warheads that would arm in the case of a massive breach as a last resort.

"I think the 'why' in your inquiry doesn't really matter. We should all be glad they haven't be activated in the first place no matter the reason."

Dr. Dian nodded. Rolling her shoulders softly as she got up.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Bell, did you sleep well?"

Bell sat up. Rubbing her eyes. She still felt tired despite sleeping through the night.

"Yeah. I had a nightmare though. I was scared that.. I lost everyone."

Dr. Rose went to Bell and knelt down looking at her, he took off his hat and held it.

"Hey. You haven't lost us, we can get Black back. I haven't broken my promise yet, have I?"

Bell shook her head and Dr. Rose stood up placing his hat back on firmly.

"Well, we need to start moving. We don't want to get caught like sitting ducks."

Dr. Rose and Dr. Dian and Bell began walking

"I've never saw a duck sit before. Well I haven't seen a duck either.  What is a duck Mr. Rose?"

Bell looked up at Dr. Rose.

"A duck is a bird that likes to float in the water. Unless you want me to spend many hours describing one in detail that's the jist of it."

Bell nodded when she saw a bird in a tree. She stopped and pointed at it in awe.

"Woah! Is that a duck?"

Dr. Rose chuckled shaking his head.

"No. That's a normal bird. In fact that specific bird right there is a wood pecker. See it's long beak?"

Bell nodded, the wood pecker began to peck at a tree.

"Why is it pecking the tree?"

Bell giggled, she thought the wood pecker was silly for pecking the tree.

"It's searching for food inside the tree. By pecking holes in the tree the wood pecker can find bugs to eat. Animals need to eat to live you know."

Bell nodded as the wood pecker grabbed a bug with it's beak and flew off.

"I understand. I'm not that naive."

Rose was a bit surprised by Bell's response. He then turned his focus back to the path.

"So tell me about Black, what do you like about him?"

Bell got excited as her eyes lit up. She loved talking about her friends.

"Black is awesome! He taught me how to see the good in the worst of things and he colors things so much better than I can. But he said it's alright cause I color stuff in vibrant-"

Bell continued to go on and on. Talking so fast it was practically a blur. Bell stopped to take a breath.

"Black is a good friend because he's always there to help!"

Dr. Rose nodded smiling softly. Dian was grimacing over how her phone got broken during the escape.

"Sounds like he's a great friend. We'll find him Bell."

Bell nodded smiling, walking down the path and looking at a stream beside them. She stopped when she saw a doe near the stream. The doe briefly stopped and looked at Bell before it began to approach her slowly. Rose and Dian watched as Bell reached out and began to pet it. Giggling as it licked her hand.

The doe sniffed Dr. Dian and Dr. Dian got confused.

"Uh Rose- what is it doing oh god- oh god it's licking me Rose help-"

Rose began to laugh as Dian was disgusted by the doe licking her. Bell giggled and laughed too.

The doe then left and rejoined it's group of fellow deer. Bell waved goodbye at it and it went on it's way.

The Three resumed their hike.

"We need to get to higher ground, I heard there was a camp up there for hikers to seek refuge if they ever got lost. We could hide up there for awhile."

Dian nodded. Bell walked happily with them.

"Sounds good, hopefully we could radio for help up there. Till everything calms down and we can get back to the site safely."

Dr. Dian suggested to Rose who agreed. Even despite all of this. The Foundation was the one place they can't just simply resign from. So they just figured they can just get back to work once it all calms down.

"This way, up this mountain."

Rose pointed up a path which led up and up through a relatively short mountain. Dian was a bit flabbergasted.

"Mountain? We're going up a mountain?"

Dr. Rose smirked at Dian raising a brow.

"What, scared of heights?"

Dr. Dian crossed her arms huffing a bit as her cheeks reddened softly.

"Yeah.. I am.."

She mumbled, annoyed. Rose chuckled.

"Don't worry, you got me to keep you safe. I kept you in one piece during the escape right?"

Dian shrugged, Rose was right.

"Yeah I guess you're right. Lets just get up there. If I faint I blame it on you!"

Rose chuckled again shaking his head as the group began their travel up the mountain. It was going to be a long hike, but at least they had each other to keep company.
