what needs to be done

i panted, finally taking a breath.my legs wobbled, my arms sore. my back stinging, my head pounding.i glared at the ground "why haven't you been eating? do i have to feed you again?" i look up at him, towering over me.

i tensed up my body and stood straight."no i was have been busy, tonight i will eat" i push back my hair, making sure there wasn't any dirt or grass.i picked up my shirt from the ground and shook it, shaking the shirt and grass.

"your almost ready.the battle is in a 1 day.it went by so quickly, so depressing" i narrowed my eyes, i slipped on my shirt over my tank top.

"why do you keep reminding me?i am very aware of it"  he turns to the setting sun.he turns back at me with a grin and something in his eyes, it made me worry.it gave me anxiety.

"don't you know?the survey corps are planning on their expeditions on the same day. looks like we will have more people to kill" he grins."well get ready, you might have to kill your crush as well" he turns back then walks away.i stood there, the sun burning my eyes.i couldn't blink now move, i couldn't even speak.

"you should be prepared to die and to kill" he call out with laughter.why did levi listen?i clench my fist, i won't let them die.i cannot afford it. i am way overdue for more payments.

i looked to the corner, peeking at the gates of the HQ.2 guards guarding the gates of HQ.i pulled my hoodie over my head and wrapped a scarf around my mouth and nose.i bent my knees and jumped up to the rooftop.i took a few steps back then dashed to the edge, jumping off.i used my kagune to give me a extra push, the breeze hitting my face almost making my scarf and hoodie fall.landing over the gate, on the ground.

hearing the sound of startled horses."did you hear something?is there someone back there?"

"nah, the horses are probably scared by a bug or something" i took a breath.i walked over to the horse stables, entering inside.my eyes scanned over all the horses.a small sigh escapes my lips "i'm so very sorry" i muttered pulling out my knife."this is only for their safety" i mumbled walked towards them.

"who's there!" i turned my head back, my eyes widen at the sight of erwin.i pulled my hoodie farther down my face and made sure my scarf is covering my face.i shoved my knife back in my pocket and looked back at him.his eyes caught mine, stopping me from moving.i felt disappointed, he looks, normal.

he looks fine, like nothing happened.his eyes weren't red like levi's, his eyes weren't anywhere near pink even!his clothes are clean!his hair is still styled like everyday!he...doesn't care.

i clench my teeth and narrowed my eyes at him."y/n?" i forced my eyes to narrow more in confusion, hoping he wouldn't figure it out.he took a step forward, i took a step back."is it really you?" he complety ignored the fact that all of his horses are, well not breathing"Guards!" i bent down and jumped over the gate, running away.

i sat in the old house once more.but this time there isn't any echos of ran or thunder.only my heavy mind."doesn't he not care?" i muttered, my eyes glued on the dirty ground.

'akria~' my body became heavy.i felt warmth around me, pushing away the cold.it was like in erwin's arms.no in my mother's, it feels just like her, so warm.'akria, come to sleep.we must chat before the big day~' a voice cooed.my vision went black, like someone was covering my eyes.'sleep~', i shut my eyes close.my fears were hitting me up again.the movement i closed my eyes, i couldn't open then, nor was i able to hear anything.

i lay on the ground with white flowers surrounding me.why am i here again?i struggled to move my body, it was like in a trance or something.hearing loud echoing footsteps surrounding me, i felt my body tensed up.a head popped in my view catching my attention.

she had white hair and this mask, that was familiar but i couldn't remember.the blackish-purplish mask showed two red eyes and a large grin on her face.her lips moved, but it only came out as a muffled sound.her eyes glowed brighter at the lack of reponse, quickly the tip her or my kagune was pointing at my face, inches away.hearing another muffled sound coming from somewhere, the kagune retracted and the girl walked out of my veiw.it snapped my body out of it's trance.

 i stood up and looked to where the girl went to, another me, and another who one was very unfamiliar to me.

i knew the other me, it's the one i got rid of a while ago, my other half.she clinged on the masked one who tried to kill me seconds ago.the little girl one noticed my eyes on her, she turns her head.her smile disappears, she lets go of  other me go walks towards me and looks up at me.her blank eyes looking at me, a small smile grew on her face.

i stared back at the little girl, i expected her to yell at me or something.instead her little hand reached for my hand.her long h/c hair falling to her face, hidng her face.she held my cold hand in her warm hand, she looks at me "thanks" she smiles.i raised a brow with confusion.

"thanks for not killing me"
