IMAGINE: You and Alex go to a party on the night Hannah killed herself. He got a phone call from Hannah's mom saying she passed.
"I love this song!" Alex yells over the music dancing with you. You had both invited Hannah to come with both of you but she said she was too tired. In the middle of the song Alex felt his back pocket vibrating. He took his phone out to see the called ID labeled 'Mrs. Baker'. Alex picked up the phone on the third vibrate. "Hello Mrs. Baker?" He said confused as to why she would call him. Alex heard a broken sob on the other end of the phone. You saw Alex's face go from happy, to confused, to broken in a single minute. He dropped his phone and stumbled out of the party. You picked his phone up to see the number still on the phone. "Mrs. Baker?" You ask to see if she's still there. "Y/N, how are you?" She asks trying to be polite. "I'm good, Mrs. Baker what's wrong?" You ask as you hear her blow her nose in the distance away from the phone. "It's Hannah. She um, she killed herself tonight. Slit her wrists in the bathtub." You quickly hang up from surprise and panic and rush out after Alex. Hannah was like a sister to Alex you knew that. You saw him by the pool and rushed to him hugging him from behind. You cry with him and soon you are both on the ground. "She's gone. Why didn't I realize she was depressed? God I'm so stupid!" Alex yells hitting the ground until his knuckles bled. You just hug him tighter. "No one noticed." You say to him, but mainly to yourself. That was the last time you ever saw Alex, Hannah, Clay, Mrs. Baker, or anyone from that town for a matter of fact. You went on a "temporary" road trip on your motorcycle and hadn't been home for three years. Every one assumed you were dead or living the high life in Vegas somewhere. You weren't doing either. You were in rehab for being a drug addict. You got one phone call and you already knew who you would call. He felt the same vibrating in his pockets as he did that night. He took his phone out to see the ID labeled 'Y/N'. He stared in shock for thirty seconds then picked up. "Alex," he heard you take an unsteady breath. "I need you to come get me."
