I find love
in the bump resting
on the bridge of your nose-
in the array of freckles
dotted on your shoulders,
swirling like little constellations
on your satin skin.

My hands glide across your curls,
twisting the violet spirals
around my fingers absentmindedly
and I watch them spring back
and brush your forehead,
my eyes moving
to watch the grin
spread across your cheeks.

Anxiety bitten fingers curl
into the hairs
at the nape of your neck
and my foggy brained head falls back,
eyes springing up to meet your own;
exploring every inch
of your sculpted face-
every bit of stubble,
every dot of cocoa brown,
every unique puzzle piece of you.

"You're adorable" you say,
as you lean down
and press your honeysuckle lips to mine,
warm hands pressed into the flesh of my cheeks,
anchoring me down in the moment,
and I fall further into your touch,
into your embrace-
and I fall further
in love with you.
