Dear God No

As the days moved on, Alastor and I became closer. And by closer, I mean we killed every single piece of hell-spawn scum we could get our hands on. It might not have been some fairy tale where the princess is carried off into the sunset by her knight in shining armor, but it worked for us. In fact, my death was better than my life had ever been.

One morning, I woke up with a snoring Alastor next to me. I stared at his face, thinking about how adorable he was when he wasn't murdering some helpless bastard. Suddenly, my stomach rolled. Jumping out of bed, I ran to the bathroom just in time to vomit in the toilet.

Shaking, I sat back wondering if I had the flu or food poisoning. I thought back over what all I had eaten the past couple of days. We cooked in most nights. And nothing had made Alastor sick. There was no flu going around that I was aware of. Unless...I blanched. Oh dear God no.

I jumped to my feet and began rummaging through my bathroom. What I needed wasn't there. I sighed, going back into the bedroom to throw on some clothes. Then as quietly as I could, I slipped out of the apartment.

I made my way down the drug store a few doors down. Making a beeline for what I needed, I grabbed the box, paid the cashier, and ran back to my apartment.  I couldn't get the door unlocked fast enough. I went back to the bathroom, and locked the door behind me.

Fifteen Minutes Later

I sat on my couch, trying not to scream. This could not be happening. This could not be happening. This. Could. Not. Be. Happening. I was a killer for hire. This couldn't be happening to me. I took some deep breaths, trying to calm myself. Then I looked into the next room, where Alastor was still asleep.

How the fuck was I going to tell him?
