3 months later
It had been 3 months since Molly had gotten out. She had been discharged from the hospital and was back in Starling. Molly had moved into the house next to her parents with Lyric and Olivia. Sadly Caitlyn never came out of the coma. Caitlyn had a rare disease that needed medicating but as she was with Mr. Willing she couldn't get the help. It was her funeral.
In the girl's dressing room they were all getting ready for Caitlyn's funeral. Molly finished getting ready first so she went and got Winnie ready. Winnie was ok but the skull fracture queer some damage which may cause learning difficulties later in life. It didn't matter though. She was alive. Molly put Winnie in a black lace dress and took her downstairs. The others were waiting at the door. Joe was with them. They had decided to just to back to bring friends for a bit.
At the funeral the whole village was there, even though they didn't know Caitlyn. Tulips lined the way between the rows of seats. Caitlyn coffin was white with a rustic look to it. The funeral was outside and luckily the sun was shining. Molly, Olivia and Lyric went to the front row of seats. A priest started off and then the girls made speeches.
Olivia gave her speech first, "Caitlyn was such an amazing girl. When I was down she would lift me up, even though I was taken before her. When I was pregnant, she would try and do my jobs for me. So I could rest. When she first arrived she was a fighter. She refused to cooperate, that fighting attitude was what got us out. Even if Caitlyn didn't make it after, without her. We would all still be in that house."
Olivia walked off. Tears selling up in her eyes.
Lyric went up next, "I was in that house the longest out of us. I saw girls come and be killed. But Caitlyn, she had that attitude, but used it wisely. At first she just lashed out at all of us, but then she realised. If she got him to trust her and used the feisty attitude rarely. He wouldn't give her as bad a punishment when she pushed it. That is what got us out and I owe my life to Caitlyn. Her memory will never die."
With that Lyric stepped down for Molly to speak. The latter gave Olivia Winnie and went up to give her speech.
She swallowed nervously, then started, "I wasn't there as long as the others and I didn't talk to Caitlyn loads. But her confidence got us out of there. I don't know how I can repay her. The only way is keeping her memory alive. Winnie owes her life to Caitlyn, and the other 2, as well. If it wasn't for her Winnie would haven't own up clueless. She wouldn't get an education and her freedom. So we all owe Caitlyn a lot."After Molly stepped down the priest offered to open the coffin. The girls didn't want to have to deal with that though. So Joe, Molly's dad and a few other men at the funeral, carried the coffin out.
The girls watched as the car drove away. They were all crying. With sorrow and joy. Their friend, the only person had them who understood was dead. But they were free. They would only have to see that man again after the trial. That was all they wanted.
Freedom.
