AN: This chapter contains the inferred spanking of a preteen.

Skie soon fell into a rhythm of waking up, dressing, eating, attending classes, doing homework, and going to bed. She, Hannah, and Danielle had begun hanging out together often. When Izzy was available, she joined them, and the four young girls spent many hours laughing together.

Skie enjoyed her classes as well. Mrs. Daniels continued to regard her with some suspicion, but the other teachers liked her well enough and Mrs. Wheaton's drama class was one of Skie's favorite classes. Unfortunately, on the Tuesday of the third week of school, it was in Mrs. Wheaton's class that Skie got in a bit of trouble.

Skie and Danielle had dropped their backpacks at their desks and were about to go over to talk to a few other girls in the class when Maddison walked in.

"Look who's here, little baby Skylar Matthews."

Skie turned around and rolled her eyes. "Astute observation, Madi. Did you really miss me that badly?"

Maddison scrunched up her nose and glared. "I didn't ask your opinion."

"Well, you addressed me, so I would assume that would allow a response. However, I'd just as soon not talk to you as talk to you, so very well."

Danielle smirked as Skie's sarcasm. Maddison glared.

"You think you're so clever, Skylar, but you aren't clever enough to not get caught sometimes, eh?"

Skie glared. "Shut up."

Madi smirked. "Why? Did you not tell your friends about what you did?"

Danielle looked concerned. "Maddison, go away. Skie, what is she talking about?"

Skie shook her head mutely. Everything was happening way too fast.

Maddison grinned. "Let me enlighten you, Dani. You see, once upon a time, I knew Skie. Actually we went to the same elementary school. However, Skie, ahem, left that school because-"

Skie did the only thing she could think to do to get Madi to shut up. She slapped her across the face, hard.

Madi reeled backwards and gasped, putting a hand to her face. She flew forwards and backhanded Skie as hard as she could. Skie felt blood begin to seep out of her nose and saw red. She shoved Madi backwards, pinning her to the wall, and raised her fist, aiming for the girl's nose.

"Ms. Matthews!"

Skie jumped and turned slowly. Mrs. Wheaton was standing, looking at her, and Hazel was standing slightly behind her, her arms folded. Skie gulped.

"Skylar, what happened to your nose?" Hazel asked in a low, serious voice.

"Maddison." Skie spat.

Mrs. Wheaton looked back at Hazel. "Ms. Jamison, can you...?"

Hazel nodded and sighed. "It's my job. Matthews, Robins, follow me please. Danielle and you right there, what is your name?"

"Amelia." The short dark haired girl Hazel had indicated spoke in a quiet, squeaky voice.

"Right, Amelia, you two come as well."

Hazel exited the drama classroom as Mrs. Wheaton called the rest of the class to order.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"This is all your fault, Skylar." Maddison glared at her from the opposite end of the couch in the waiting room. Hazel was out in the main area of the discipline room, talking to Danielle and Amelia to get an unbiased perspective.
Skie rolled her eyes and grabbed a fresh tissue, dropping the bloody one in a wastebasket. "How is this my fault, Madi."
"You tried punching me."
"That's cause you slapped me."
"That's cause you slapped me."
"That's cause you keep making fun of me."
"That's because of what you did."
Skie glared harder. "That was years ago, Madi. I'd think you'd get over it by now."
Madi glared back. "You never got what was coming to you."
Skie rolled her eyes. "I was expelled! How is that not getting what was coming to me? I'll admit what I did was stupid but you shouldn't keep bothering me about it."
Maddison was about to respond when Hazel opened the door. "Ms. Robins, come with me, please. Ms. Matthews, stay here. Keep your head forward so your nose stops bleeding."
Madi followed Hazel into the main room while Skie did as instructed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After an eternity to Skie but only 10 minutes to anyone else, Hazel opened the door.

"Come out please, Ms. Matthews."

Skie came out of the room to see a crying Madi standing in a corner.

"Ms. Robins, come out please."

Madi turned around looking sorry, but when Hazel looked away from her, she glared at Skie.

"Ms. Matthews, I will deal with you in a moment, but first I would like you two to apologize to each other."

Skie cleared her throat. "I'm sorry for slapping you, Maddison."

Madi pasted on an apologetic look. "I'm sorry for slapping you too, Skie."

Hazel smiled, although Skie swore she rolled her eyes a bit. "Alright, ladies, shake hands please."

Madi held out her hand, and Skie suddenly remembered that the taller girl had a bone crushing grip. Skie took her hand, but casually bent the tips of her fingers so her nails were touching Maddison's palm. Madi glared at Skie discreetly but didn't squeeze hard. The two girls shook hands twice before quickly letting go.

Hazel sighed. "Right, back to class with you, Maddison."

Madi left without a word.

Hazel looked at Skie. "Well, Skie, it would seem that we have a bit of trouble to work out."

Skie felt her blood go cold.
