After breakfast the next day, Skie, Danielle, and Izzy joined a small, anxious crowd of students at the drama bulletin board.

"When will they be out?" Izzy moaned. "This is driving me crazy."

"Look, here it comes!" Danielle grinned and grabbed Skie's arm in excitement.

Skie felt her chest tighten. "You go look. I'm scared."

Danielle slid to the front, stared, and then cheered. Running back to Skie, she grabbed her shoulders and spoke loudly in the sudden clamor.

"We did it! We got in! And I got Rosalie! And you, you got Gwen! You're the main antagonist!"

Skie grinned. She had done it. She gently pushed her way to the front and looked at the list.

Danielle Dykstra - Rosalie Shyne

Skylar Matthews - Gwendolyn "Gwen" Smith

Daisy VanderArt - Cher Lockholmes

Looking further down the list, she noticed Izzy's name

Isabella Richardson - Mrs. Owens

Maddison Robins - Kati Owens

"Nice job!" Skie grinned at Izzy.

"Thanks, you too! Apparently I'm the entitled mom with two bratty children."

"Fun." Danielle said, rolling her eyes playfully.

"So, Matthews thinks she can act, can she?"

Skie turned around and faked a smile. "Mrs. Wheaton seems to as well, doesn't she?"

Madi glared. "Don't get fresh with me, Matthews."

Skie rolled her eyes. "You're just jealous that you didn't get a main role."

Madi flushed in anger. "Says who. And you're the villain anyway. Hmm, based on the character, I think you will do an excellent job of playing the part. After all, you're used to-"

Skie had a good idea of what Madi was about to say, and she really didn't want to hear it. She decided to go the direct route and pushed the girl, hard. Madi landed on her butt on the floor at, unfortunately for Skie, the same time Mrs. Daniels walked around the corner.

"Skylar!"

Skie looked up at Mrs. Daniels, decided she couldn't handle anything else at the moment, and dashed off. Danielle ran quickly behind her.

"Is something the matter, Ma'am?" Hazel said in a concerned tone when Mrs. Daniels pulled her to the side a few minutes later. She and Daniels had always gotten along without any problems, and Hazel was actually friends with her son who was in her grade.

"I caught Skylar pushing Maddison down in the hallway just now, and when I called her name she ran away."

Hazel raised an eyebrow. "I see. Was she provoked?"

"I am not sure. I walked in as she pushed her."

"Thank you Ma'am, I'll go look for her. Which way did she go?"

Mrs. Daniels pointed and Hazel jogged off, looking in classrooms as she went. She was nearly to the orchestra room when she heard a voice floating up from the echo-y bathroom.

"FUCK HER!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Skie collapsed panting against the wall of the bathroom. A few seconds later, Danielle came in.
"Skie, it's gonna be ok."
"No, it's not ok! I'm gonna get in trouble because of her again! And she probably won't get in trouble at all, seeing as it's Daniels."
Danielle placed a hand on her arm and squeezed gently. "It's ok, we'll figure everything out, alright?"
"I hate her! I hate Maddison!"
"I don't blame you a bit."
"She keeps trying to bring up my past and she shouldn't!"
"You're right."
"Ugh!" Skie pulled away and slammed her fist against the bathroom wall. She reeled back in pain and shouted. "FUCK HER! FUCK THIS BITCH! I'M SO SICK OF HER BEING UP MY ASS ALL THE TIME!"
"Skylar!"
Hazel stormed in and grabbed her shoulders. "You need to calm down! And watch your language."
Skie looked as though she wanted to do something she would regret, but surprisingly, Danielle stepped in, pushing Hazel away from her.
"Leave her alone! Can't you see she's hurting?"
Hazel glared and left. Danielle could hear her stop outside the bathroom and take several calming breaths.
"Skie, she's right. Just take a deep breath...that's it."
Skie blinked back tears as she breathed. "Fuck."
"I know."
"Hazel's gonna kill me...and you too."
"I doubt it. She's understanding."
Skie sighed. "Alright, let's go face the music."
AN: Up next, Hazel talks to Skie and Dani.
