i want you to feel me breathing and not run away at the sight
of all my troubles as they pour from my bones into your lap
tell me you'll be able to look at me the same, tell me you won't snap
i want to feel your heart on my heart, as you kiss me on the head
i want you to never let go of me, when this moment turns to lead
because you'll struggle to carry the weight of me
and i'll be there regretting the truth, as it leaves me lonely
