Kim Seokjin lived a secretive lifestyle. He always had. You had to when you ran reconnaissance for the largest human trafficking service in the country. He was the most genuine actor which made him the face of every mission. Though face is a bit of an understatement. He always wore a mask and sunglasses. His face was never visible. They didn't deserve to see his handsome face.

Seokjin was the first face that the girls saw after they were taken. Today was no different, but there was one girl who caught his eye. She was different from the other girls. Most of the girls came from low-income areas. But this girl was dressed to the hilt in Louis Vuitton. Her hair was nicely done and her makeup was perfect. Unlike the other girls she wasn't crying, she remained stoic. Her eyes flicked to his and smirked at me. I stalked toward her and dropped down in front of her.

"I'm not scared if that's what you're going to ask," her voice was delicate, "People will come looking for me and when they do you'll all be in trouble."

"What's your name?" Jin dropped his voice and made it gravelly. The girl smiled once more.

"Soo-ah," She provided, "The most sought-after theatre actress in the country. What do you have to say about that sunglass boy?"

He nodded and went about orientating the other girls sending them to their rooms. Jin turned to the actress again. She looked a little frightened now. Her skin was pale and her lips had been chewed. Jin kneeled down behind her and undid the zip ties that bound her wrists. She rubbed at the skin of her wrists fondly.

"Get out," He whispered in her ear, "There's a back way out. Take the hallway to your left after you leave this room and don't stop until you get into town. Do you understand me?" The young actress turned around and stared at him, "Did you not hear me?"

"Why are you doing this?" She stood and stalked back towards the door, "This is a game to you. Someone will chase me won't they?"

"No," Jin opened the door for her, "I happen to like theatre. So go. Go find help and get back to your life."

Soo-ah darted out the door and down the hallway, her booted heels echoing off the walls. She ran and didn't stop.

That was the first time that Jin has done something to defy his boss. The first time he had ever done something so dangerous to his livelihood.

Jin was called to the boss's office later that night. The boss was sitting behind his desk. In full crime boss movie fashion. His arms folded over his desk, a cigar hung between his lips. His hands adorned with large rings.

"Kim, my boy," his voice was calm and collected. Not necessarily indicative of the trouble that was about to come Jin's way, "I hear that one of my girls escaped. But you were the one who was putting them through orientation," the boss pulled the cigar from his mouth and blew smoke from his nose, "so... what do you have to say about that?"

Jin remained quiet, weighing his options. There was no point in lying and saying she snuck past him. That was impossible. There was probably some weight to telling to truth and saying he let her go. But he could lie and say that he outran him.

"I apologize, Sir," Jin's voice was still the deep and gravelly sound that he used to disguise himself, " She simply got away from me. She's a fast runner."

The boss didn't look satisfied. He pulled his bottom lip between his teeth and leaned back with a soft sigh. The worry-lined face of the boss was set in a scowl, which was probably how he got all his wrinkles, Jin thought.

"I think that we both know that's not what happened, Kim," the bosses voice tore from his throat in a growl. The boss stood from his chair and stalked toward the younger, rapidly paling boy, "I hope that girl was worth the price of your mother's head."

"Jin-oppa," the girl's voice slowly filtered through Seokjin's cloudy head, "Jin-oppa!" The man turned his head to be met with the beautiful chocolate eyes of his fiancée, Soo-ah. The woman he had saved from the vile practice of human trafficking.

Jin smiled at the girl and reached up brushing her hair behind her ears. Her hair was darker than when he had seen her first, but she was still remarkably beautiful. They'd been together for years. He'd met her again when he was an understudy for the main man in a play. Namjoon has stressed the importance of having a day job. A nice one too.

The younger girl blushed at his action and smiled back at her fiancé. Jin loved that even after they'd been together all this time he could make her blush. Jin also couldn't believe that this girl who jumped at sounds louder than a shout was the same girl who looked him dead in the eye and said she wasn't scared of being sold to sex slavery.

Soo-ah reached up and cupped her hand over Jin's. The cold metal of her engagement ring shocking the older's skin. Jin brought her hand to his lips and ghosted over the diamond and the roses. His lips barely touched her skin and she smiled brightly at the gentleness of the man she was going to marry.

"We need to get home," She wrapped her arms around his neck, "Otherwise we might be eating take out because Namjoon and Ji-ah tried to cook."

Jin held his sunshine tightly against him. He nuzzled his face into her neck and places soft open-mouthed kisses on her neck and exposed shoulder. He was determined to do everything in his power to keep her safe from his life.

"I love you so much, Soo-ah," He mumbled against her skin as the started towards their car, "Never forget that."
