Eun-kyung's dad stiffened as she threw herself into his arms, crocodile tears falling down her face. Min Yoongi's face flashed in his mind all bloody and beaten. Both Min Yoongi and his daughter ran through his mind. The photos of them holding hands. The interview about their engagement. One of the reasons that the boys in the basement were still alive is because of how much they meant to his only child.
"I didn't even get to tell him that I'm pregnant," while the information was false Eun-kyung hoped it would strike a nerve. And it did. Her father felt his heart break. If the boys were kept any longer or if his men killed them, his baby would have to be a single mother.
"She's pregnant?!" All seven of the boys said in unison.
"She has to be lying," Yoongi spoke in a panicked tone, "right, Namjoon?"
"You guys do have sex a lot..." Hoseok trailed off. Yoongi's mind began swimming. There's no way. They always practiced safe sex and she was on birth control. No fucking way she was pregnant. But then again, maybe she forgot to take her pill and a condom broke...
Eun-kyung's father ushered her up to her old bedroom. It looked remarkably similar aside from the larger bed. After all she was a bit taller than when she was 12.
"Get some rest," He said kissing the top of her head, "Your mother and I will see you in there morning."
Her father walked out and shut the door behind him. She listened closely before the door to his bedroom shut. Eun-kyung quickly placed her bags on the bed and pulled one of the handguns from one. She slid it under the bed and slowly opened the bedroom door, peering out of her bedroom and into the hallway. Empty.
Eun-kyung slinked down the hall and once in the living room pulled out her phone, texting the number that Yoongi had been using to contact them.
I'm going to stomp on the floor. If you hear it. Bang on the ceiling of the room you're in.
The girl didn't wait for a response before banging the heel of her boot against the floor. No response. She walked into the entryway and repeated the action. A soft bang came back. She took a quick mental picture of the layout of the first floor and made her way to the basement door. She turned the knob. Nothing. It was locked.
She scrunched her nose and pulled a bobby pin from her hair. She pulled it apart and bent the straight end into a hook. She stuck the the pin in the lock and worked it until she could open the door. She slinked down the stairs closing the door behind her and locking it once more. She reached the bottom of the stairs and was met with a labyrinth of hallways. She pulled the handgun, equipped with a suppressor, from her waist and stalked the hallways. Her stance the same that she learned from Jungkook's student.
"Guys," She whisper called. She couldn't be too sure that there wasn't anyone down here besides her. From her mental picture of the houses floor plan she assumed she was where the entry way was, "Guys."
A rapping came from the door next to her. She jumped a bit startled. She looked up and saw a set of keys. She shook her head and mental berated the people that were in charge down here. She pushed the key into the lock and pushed the door open.
Yoongi met her first bringing her into a passionate kiss. The other boys simply hugged her.
"Where are the others?" Namjoon asked. Looking out the opened door.
"Back at the bunker," Eun-kyung said softly. She watched the boys longingly look into the hallway, "You can't. Trust me. You won't be in here much longer. Just give me a bit of time to make a better plan than breaking you out in the middle of the night."
"Seems like a good plan to me." Taehyung mumbled, "There's nobody here. We could leave." Eun-kyung shook her head.
"You'll be shot the second you walk out the door. There are people all over the grounds. Just not down here apparently," She trailed off for a moment before mumbling to herself more than anyone in the room, "Now that I know where the room you're in is located..." it was impossible to hear the rest of her thought, because booted and heavy footsteps sounded throughout the cavernous halls, "Not much longer. I promise."
Without another word from any of them, Eun-kyung slipped out the door. Closing it softly and locking it. She put the keys back on their hook and slipped into an alcove in the wall on the opposite side. She watched as a large man walked past her, but he stopped and retraced his steps and stood right in front of her. She waited with bated breath. The man peered into the darkness of the alcove and pulled a flashlight from his belt, but before he could shine it at the girl, another man's voice beckoned him away. When his footsteps faded, Eun-kyung finally released her breath.
She made her way down the hall, slowly, cautiously, before slipping up the stairs and back into her bedroom. She pulled out her phone and made a call.
The girls jumped when Sun-mi's phone rang. A FaceTime call from their absent friend.
"Eun-kyung," she spoke as she answered, "where the hell are you?" The rest of the girls gathered around.
"My dad's," she whispered, "They're here. They look a little worse for wear but they aren't so bad."
"We're coming, Kyung-ah," Ji-ah spoke authoritatively, "you shouldn't be there alone."
"No," Eun-kyung pleaded, "Please trust me and stay there for a couple days. Let me throw together a plan. Tomorrow I'll find the house blueprints and send them to you. Guys, we can do this. You just have to trust me."
