"No no no no no!" Mi-sun yelled from her seat. The girls had let the men in, "You're confusing our boys for other people. There's no fucking way that they run a gang! Let alone the largest and most dangerous in the country!"
"Also," Kyung-soon added from beside her irate friend, "our boys are seen in the media all he time. Especially Taehyung. He's a fucking model for Christ's sake. Tell them Eun-kyung there's no way." Kyung-soon turned to where her friend had sat, but there was no one here. All the girls looked around for their friend.
"They aren't lying, guys." All head whipped towards the basement stairs where. Eun-kyung was there with a key dangling from her fingers, "come out with me and see what I found."
Eun-kyung pushed open the door to the boys' "man cave" and all eight of the others filed in followed by her. The other girls looked around this didn't look like how they thought a man cave should. The large space was open, seven desks sit against the walls, phones on each desk.
A large book sat on one. It was filled with notes. Previous locations, drug run patterns, the path of a human trafficking ring.
"This is Joon's handwriting..." Ji-ah spoke softly running her hand over the large oak surface of the desk. She slowly took a seat in the tall back chair. One desk had monitor's for surveillance cameras. A spreadsheet laying on the desk also had monetary value. It looked much like a bank statement, except there was nothing but deposits and the deposits were valued in the thousands.
"Jin," Soo-ah spoke softly, much like Ji-ah sliding into the chair.Hae-won leaned against the desk that had a scope and what appeared to be uncut marijuana. A note sat on top of it. The girl's eyes ran across the words scrawled on the paper and she burst into silent tears, sinking into the plush chair, her head resting on the desk.
"Hoseok..." she mumbled against the wood.On another desk, sat a collection of knives (a rather impressive one too, the girls had to admit). A notebook also sat. A detailed plan of sending out some girls, in disguise, to investigate some disappearances. Kyung-soon slammed her hand onto the hard wood.
"Fuck! Jimin!" Frustrated, scares tears streamed from her eyes as she reclined in the chair.Mi-sun didn't react in any particular way when she saw Taehyung's desk. Disassembled weapons lay on top of a cloth that spread over the top. She sat down and instead of crying or cursing like her friends, she began to study. She didn't speak as her eyes ran over the anatomy notes of the weapon on the desk.
Sun-mi reacted much the same as Mi-sun. A firearm sat on the desk that she was siting at and she was studying the weapon as well as the notes on shooting that sat beside it. Her long, elegant fingers brushed against the weapon.
One desk sat ignored. A computer sat atop it and a notebook sat there too. Information was compiled into the notebook, including how to disarm a bomb and the proper usage of any type of explosive. Instead of looking at her fiancé's desk, Eun-kyung sat at the large oak table in the middle of the room. All of the girls looked at her, so did the two men (who weren't willing to give their names), with expectance. The six girls all gave a single nod when her eyes met theirs.
"Who took them? Why? And how do we get them back?" The girls were a little taken back by the sharpness of Eun-kyung's tone.
"We don't know who took them specifically, but it is a branch of another large gang. The intention would have been to take out the largest gang in the country. To gain power," when Ji-ah gasped the men added, " they won't kill them, yet anyway. The only way to get them back is to fight for them."
"Then we fight," Soo-ah spoke making her way to the table. The others joined suit. They began discussing and plotting when the phone on Yoongi's desk rang out. Everyone turned to the source. Eun-kyung stood from the chair and walked over.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Fuck," Yoongi's voice came through the phone, "what the hell are you doing down there?!"
"Where are you, oppa?" Eun-kyung didn't bother to answer him. The other girls perked and walked a bit closer.
"I don't know. But since you know about us now, I need you to check Jin's cameras. You should be able to see who took us. Then, and I mean this Eun-kyung, notify the rest of the gang. Don't you dare come looking for us. None of you need to be in this." Yoongi's voice was in a whisper.
"It's too late for that, my dear," Eun-kyung grabbed Hae-won's hand as she reached out, "We're going to get you back. Are you all alright?"
"Yes, we're fine," Yoongi mumbled. She could hear the others in the back too, "Eun-kyung, don't let anyone besides the men who come to the house see your faces. Cover them at all times. Also... I love you."
"Don't say that!" Eun-kyung snapped, "it makes it sound like you're going to die. I'll see you later." She amended before the line went silent, "He hung up..." A barrage of questions came at her after she put the phone down. "They're all fine. Also... we're only allowed to show our faces to the people who show up here. We have to protect our identities."
Eun-kyung stalked over to Jin's desk. And played around with footage until Soo-ah came over and helped her. Eun-kyung quickly jotted down the license plate of the vehicle and pushed away from the table.
"Well ladies," Eun-kyung smiles wickedly, "I guess it's time for war."
