This refers to the beginning of the movie “Silent Night, Deadly Night,” when the boy, Billy, was told by his grandfather that Santa punishes the naughty and on the way back his parents, from the mental hospital where their grandfather is heald, were killed after saying they were naughty a couple times. Billy took this and went on a killing spree killing the naughty.

This is a nod to the second film in the series Silent Night, Deadly Night. The line “Garbage Day” is said to a victim before he is shot while holding a garbage bin.
