I sobbed into Ashton's shirt, something I have done probably too many times. He rubbed my back and just held me for a while. We were sitting on a bench a block away from Luke's apartment, with me crying and Ashton hugging me, people who were driving by we're probably giving us weird looks but I honestly didn't care at this point.

My whole life was falling apart and it all started with one man and one fucked up apartment. Because of all that I had lost all of my friends in my life, Cammie got killed because of me and I had to leave Michael and Luke. The only person I had was Ashton and I don't know what I'd do if I lost him too. I just wanted my life back, I wanted to go back to the shitty school that I hated and stay in the shitty town. But I knew I couldn't, it would be too painful, I would be known around the whole town as 'the girl who survived'. I couldn't deal with all the questions and fake friends that came with a story like that. The only good thing that came out of all this is that now I had Ashton.

After many minutes of me crying I finally wiped my eyes and sighed heavily. My whole body felt drained from everything. I couldn't cry anymore, I've cried too much the past month or so.

Ashton looked at me with sorrow in his eyes and held me even tighter than before. "We'll be okay.." he said softly as he kissed the top of my head. We stayed like that, him holding me, for a few minutes.

"A-Ash?" I said, my voice hoarse from crying so much. "Where are we gonna go?" I suddenly started to worry about everything.

"We can walk for a while until we find a motel or something, I think there's one a few towns away. Stop worrying, as long as we're together we're okay" he always knew exactly what to say and it always amazed me. I simply nodded and sighed, he still had his arms around me and it made me feel much better.

"We should probably get going, it's almost 4" he said softly while he looked at his watch he must've grabbed from his room earlier.

Both of us got up and started to walk out of the town that I've grown to hate. Ashton's hand soon enough found mine and he intertwined our fingers. And we walked. Through various streets, past many shops and saw tons of people. As we walked through place we've never been before we talked about every little thing that popped into our minds. We made some stops at a few stores to buy food to hold us over for at least a week, maybe two.

After almost three hours of walking we spotted a little motel tucked away in the town. It wasn't a rundown, beat-up motel, it actually looked cute and cozy. As we made our way up to the office I started to feel weight lift from my shoulders because we actually found somewhere that wasn't a complete dump.

We stepped inside the small office and the doorbell went off, signaling that a costumer has come in. The older women at the counter looked up and smiled at us. "Hi sweetheart how can I help you?" she said sweetly.

"We'd like to get a room if you have any available.." Ashton said to the women. She clicked through pages on the computer until she found something for us.

"Ah, here we go." She finally spoke as she dug through a drawer beside her. She then held up a key for us. "Room 201, and uh, how long will you be staying?"

Ashton and I looked at each other with wide eyes after she said the number of the room, out of all the numbers in the world it had to be that one. "Do you possibly have any other rooms, b-besides that one?" Ashton said, panic clear in his voice.

"Sorry hun, many of our rooms having work done to them and that's the only one left." She seemed confused to why we asked for a different room number, but she went along with it anyway.

Ashton sighed in defeat and ran a hand through his hair. "Okay, that's fine. And for how long we're staying, I'm uh, not exactly sure.." he trailed off, scratching the back of his neck.
