Nogu tossed and tumbled through the cosmos. As Sath described, he had been thrown through worlds, galaxies, universes, and out of the entire multiverse. For a century, he rested in the Nonexisting Plane of Existence and only now, he returned to the multiverse to continue his journey to exact vengeance. Sath did something to him as apparently shown by his inability to simply teleport to the two's location. A fraction of his power was stripped away. He landed on a dead, barren planet. Its sky was a cloudless, starless sea of red. The ground was scorched and blackened by an extinction event that would never be recorded or acknowledged.
Nogu screamed at the sky, cursing his father for his betrayal. All he had left was hatred.
Unknown: "Quiet, King of Old. Your despair serves no purpose."
Nogu: "I am no king. I am a humbled and tortured prince."
Unknown: "As if."
Nogu: "And who are you, shadow?"
Unknown: "I am, but a lady, 'no king', and I know very well of your person."
Nogu: "Show yourself."
A subtle, feminine laugh was in the air.
The Lady: "You are your father's greatest regret. You manifest his disappointment. You were once the God of Freedom, but now, you aren't worth more than the dirt. You are a failure, Nogu. You are nothing."
Nogu: "Silence."
Nogu's ebony avatar released a wave of repulsion, obliterating the planet's crust. His feet were planted on the planet's mantle as flames flickered and crackled around him. Before he could react, a thin hand was placed on his forehead.
There was a light. Then, he saw what even he, an elder god, had been blind to. The multiverse was in ruin. Every single sentient being, animal, and plant had died. Worlds were set ablaze. All of the remaining gods of old littered space with their dismembered corpses. A celestial serpent wrapped itself around the countless universes. Its scales dwarfed small planets and its eyes seemed to house innumerable nebulas.
It turned to Nogu. Its gaping, fanged maw opened to release a booming cackle.
The Serpent: "Now, this is truly something; there is nothing."
The lady was gone. Nogu collapsed to his knees and wept, unable to cope with how blind he had been. It was hopeless, all of it.
