Chapter 22

"I like you." He stated as soon as he pulled me into one of the many dressing rooms.

"W-what?" I stuttered, his words making my heart flutter. His eyes looked deeply into mine as his smooth silky lips repeated the same words again. "I like you a lot. I know you probably don't like me and it's been such a short time and you don't even know me that well but I know I wanna be the one to heal you and be the one who gets to hold you and never let anybody hurt you again."

"Calum. I.... I do like you... It's just that it's all to much. It's all moving to fast. It's barely been a week and I don't think I'm ready. Marcel used me, how do I know your not any different." I said dropping my gaze to the floor.

"I'm not like that dick. I like you a lot. And if I have to take it slow and prove it to you I will. I would wait forever for you. I've never felt this way before about anybody Logan. Please give me a chance." He pleaded

I brought my gaze back up to meet his warm brown eyes. My heart fluttered at this small action.

"Okay. I like you a lot to but give me time. That's all I'm asking." I said shooting him a small smile.

"Take all the time you need babe." He smiled. He liked me. I liked him. We both knew it. My cheeks were a bright red and I was smiling uncontrollably. This is the happiest I've ever been.

A loud knock on the door brought us out of our thoughts. He gave me a huge smile which I gladly returned. "It's time to head back." Ashton called out.

"Coming!" I yelled back and made my way to the door, but Calum stopped me. He stepped infront of me and opened the door. "Ladies first."

"Why thank you." I blushed and walked past him.

"No problem babe." He said causing me to blush at the pet names.

"Stop calling me babe!" I giggled shoving him slightly.

"Why babe? Does it bother you?" He smirked

"Yes!! Stop!" I said again and continued walking to the warm up room where all the guys were waiting.

"Fine. Fine. I'm sorry......babe." He said with a playful look on his face.

"I hate you." I grumbled.

"I know you love me!" He laughed but I tensed up. He used the 'L' word.

"I don't mean it like that Logan." He sighed and pulled me into a hug.

"I'm sorry." I peeped and pushed him away.... Was I even ready for this? I let out a shaky breath and walked toward the guys.

"MICHAEL!!!" I screeched and jumped onto his back causing us to go crashing toward the ground.

"LOGAN!!!" He shouted back. "We are going to the movies to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!!! Wanna come!" He shouts excitedly.

"OF COARSE!!" I shout back becoming excited as well.

"We are gonna go back to the hotel to shower and get dressed first then we'll head over there." Ashton added hurrying us over to the awaiting van. Calum eyed me from a distance, as if he wanted to get near me but was afraid. Great. I scared off another person who cared about me. No. Not this time. He said he would wait.

"Calum." I said as we piled up in the van. "Yeah?" He replied looking at me with his deep brown eyes. I slowly got lost in them until his voice brought me back to reality. "Can I sit near you during the movie?"

"Of coarse you can." I giggled.

"Good. I thought you didn't want me near you..... I'm sorry." He said giving me a hug that made my stomach explode in butterflies.
