Hiccup POV:
Me and Astrid awoke the next morning, to announce the pregnancy. She did have her usual morning sickness.
We got dressed after a small breakfast, and headed to the hall hand and hand. When we arrived, I pushed the doors to the hall open, everyone inside froze and turned towards me and Astrid. We walked hand in hand to the front of the hall.
Silence filled the air of the Great Hall, as they were eager to hear what I had to say.
"People of Berk, me and Astrid have an important announcement to make. But first....Happy Birthday Fishlegs!" I say clapping. "Fishlegs this is your birthday gift from me and Astrid cause we forgot something else!" I say and Fishlegs glares. "Ok to the announcement. Me and Astrid are expecting our first baby!" I announce. People in the rooms jaws dropped, and sprang into cheers. The gang still had there jaws dropped open. "Best birthday gift ever! I'm going to be an uncle!" Fishlegs squeals. "Now...quiet," I say. They all hushed and turned towards me. "Whether we have a boy or a girl. My son OR DAUGHTER will have the title to heir of Berk." Hiccup says. That caught many people's attention. They erupted into cheers, and most men were fine with it.
Astrid POV:
I stood hand and hand with Hiccup as he made the announcement. Most people were so happy that we were pregnant. Except for my parents. They hated me with Hiccup. I saw them in the back with shocked faces, and mad faces. They had fists and walked out of the hall.
I had a sad look on my face, and Hiccup was about to confront me about it when Valka appeared.
"I'm going to be a grandmother!!!!" She squeals excitingly. I smiled, a very small smile. Hiccup hugged his mom and gave me a concerned look. I just looked away, and went down the hall. Many women gave me tips on birthing, and cravings. I was just nodding quickly and walking away.
"You May return to your work!" Hiccup says, and runs after me. I slam open the hall doors, to find my parents.
"Astrid! How could you?! With Haddock!" My father yells. I push them out of my way and run to my house.
"Astrid!" Hiccup yells. I saw him look at my parents, and push past them. I run into our house, slam the door, and cry.
