Astrid POV:
I have been in labor for 12 straight hours. 12 painful hours if only ice, sweat, Hiccup, and pain.
"Ugh!" I shriek. "Aneska how much longer? It's so hard for me to see her like this," Hiccup says. "She's almost fully dialated! Maybe about an hour or less than she can start pushing." Aneska said than went back to her book.
"Ow!" I shriek again. Hiccup sat behind me and I layed on him. He held my hand, even though I saw the pain on his face for how hard I was squeezing it.
"Astrid..ASTRID!" Hiccup helps as I have another contraction and I may have tightened my hand on his too tight.
1 HOUR LATER:
"Ugh!" I yell. I gripped my tight belly and screamed really loud. "Aneska!" Hiccup yelled. "It's time!" She said. Hiccup lifted me up and I sat against him. "Ok Astrid, big push!" Aneska says. I do as she says and push hard. "Again!" She says.
I pushed and pushed and screamed and screamed.
"My Thor this hurts!" I say as I fall back onto Hiccup. He holds my hand and puts another on my shoulders.
"You got this Astrid. You can do it!" He soothes. I push hard once again, then I heard a loud cry. "Congratulations mommy and daddy! It's a...."
