Astrid POV:
The next day was the last day of me being stuck in Aneska's hut. I had to wait for the swelling to go down, and hope that my stomach still won't look so fat.
I woke up to Hiccup holding Freya, and he was feeding her with a baby bottle. "Huh you like that don't you baby?" He says, then he leans and kisses her forehead. Watching them together, I could tell she was going to be a daddy's girl. I could see her and Hiccup having the best relationship. I smiled at the thought and turned my head, and fell back asleep.
I woke up a couple hours later, and Hiccup left me a note saying he was out to eat. Freya was sleeping in her cradle. I would have had Hiccup take her with him, but we don't want her outside or too be seen until the ceremony tomorrow.
There was a knock at my door. "Um? Come in?" I say wondering who it was. The door opened, to reveal my dad. "Dad? Now what?" I say mad. "I want to explain something to you," he said sitting on my bed. I just sat there wondering what he was going to say. "Astrid dear. I know how beautiful, strong, and kind you are. You are a Hofferson and a Haddock. I don't hate Hiccup either. He treats you so well, and dear you are so in love and that's all I've ever wanted." He explains. "You are so lying! You don't ever act like this!" I yell. "That because if your mother! She hates hiccup, and she won't tell me why. She thinks you are so weak, but dear you are so strong! I only act mean when I'm around your mother so she doesn't hurt me to death!" He says. "And I was really happy when you told me that you pregnant, even if I had to act like I was pissed," he says. "I should have told you thing a long time ago," he says. "Yea you should have. But i guess it's never bad to start over," I say. He smiles at me and looks over to my sleeping daughter. "What's her name?" He asks. "Freya Rose Haddock," I say. He smiles. "That's a beautiful name. What does she look like?" He asks. I crawled over to the cradle, and picked up my sleeping daughter. Then I placed her in my dads arms. "My Thor Astrid. She is so beautiful. She has Hiccups auburn hair and...what color eyes?" He asks staring at her. "My ocean blue," I smile. My dad was back.
