Michael watched the two, Jeremy and Eric, smiling happily to himself. The two barely even know each other, but with Eric's flirtatious ways, Jeremy seems so in love already. Damn.. if only he had something like that. Michael still hasn't found his soulmate and is a bit disappointed because of that, he thought that he would be able to find her.. or even him, before Jeremy. Michael was pretty sure that he was gay and that he would get a male soulmate, but you never know. Whatever the thing is what determines someone's soulmate like a sorting house from Harry Potter can be incorrect sometimes. But the 'Incorrect Ones' would be the ones who have indifferent houses..

No matter! Michael will find him eventually! Hopefully before he graduates, because after that, it gets a lot harder than before. But how come he's never seen his soulmate before? He's looked at, or at least seen, everybody in his grade at least once. Maybe his soulmate wasn't in his grade? Maybe they didn't go to his school? That's tough.. Though a lot of anxiety was holding him back from trying to meet his soulmate, Michael kept pushing through no matter the possibilities. Shit- Class is starting soon.. Michael ran away from the crowd and out to his class, Jeremy was in that class too, so he could congratulate him there.

It's been days, almost a few weeks. Michael still hasn't found his soulmate.. It wasn't good. Michael, because of that, was getting more and more depressed. He was and becoming more and more stressed. What if he never found his soulmate? What if he was going to live a lonely, sad life? Michael's main goal was to find his soulmate and live a happy life! This couldn't be good.. What if his soulmate was dead? Michael sighed softly, walking into the bathroom to just calm down and chill out, talk to himself. He assumed no one else would be in the bathroom with him sense everyone should be in a class by now, the bell already rang. He was going to be late to class but by now, he didn't care.

"Okay.. Michael.." The teen started awkwardly. He's never really given himself a self-motivation speech before, especially not in a public bathroom. He turned the cold water knob on high, but not high enough to where the water will freak out and spray everywhere. If only he had some mint or gum. The smell of minty things oddly calmed him down, he liked it. "Let's get this straight. Er- well.. okay. You still haven't found you're soulmate yet and that's a bit troubling.. It, uh.. making you anxious and scared a bit, but nonetheless, you're excited.."

      This is pretty weird.

Michael thought to himself, biting his lip. Not that much later, seconds really, Michael heard, shuffling from the last stall in the bathroom. Was someone else here? Did something fall? What's going on? Okay, no, you don't need to panic, it was probably just something adjusting. But just to be sure..Michael walked in front of the bathroom stalls, seeming some hanging open and one completely closed. Someone was in here, how long had they been here? What did they hear?

"Uh- Hello?" Michael asked awkwardly. The number one rule was to not talk to anybody in the boy's bathroom, so what the hell was he doing? From the other side, there was a small boy panicking and trying not to be seen through the cracks. He wasn't doing anything besides awkwardly standing on the toilet seat. He was, however, having a mini panic attack before Michael walked in, his thoughts were getting to him and he couldn't help but break down. The kid in the stall was Richard Goranski.

Should he bang on the door to try to get Michael away? He didn't want anybody around to embarrass him. As the king of the school's right-hand man, he shouldn't have any signs of anxiety or depression. Wait- Michael Mell? Why is here? Hah! That dweeb was talking to himself! Fucking idiot!

But.. Rich had to say.. Michael was pretty adorable most of the time.. He didn't want Michael to hate him..

"What do you want, Mell?" God, why did that have to sound so rude? He wanted to be nice to Michael, he didn't deserve the hate. He refused to look at Michael as he stepped off the toilet to unlock the door. The rebellious teen walked out avoiding eye contact. He said he didn't want to meet his soulmate, already very disappointed that Jake wasn't his. One of the reasons why he was in the bathroom in the first place.

"Well, I thought- I thought someone was in here and-" "Shut up, Michael!!" "-I'm sorry.." Michael shut up immediately, fiddling with his hands. Why didn't Rich look at him at all? Was there something wrong with him? Did someone hurt him? "Um.. Rich.. Are you okay? You haven't.. Hit me or anything.." Michael muttered.

"What? You want me to hit you? Freak.." Rich muttered back, shaking his head. "What do you want?" Rich growled, glaring up at Michael finally. Why did he do that? What the fuck- NO!!

Michael couldn't believe it finally happened, Rich looked him in the eyes. Probably the first time he's ever done it and it felt strange.. Something does feel strange. Michael awkwardly moved his hand to under the back of his shirt, feeling something soft.. Wait.. Before Michael could think, Rich pinned the taller male against the wall kissing him deeply. Rich.. Was his soulmate? Did he know all along? Is this why he didn't look up at him? Rich pulled away from Michael after a few seconds, staring him straight in the eyes. The red hooded boy didn't say anything after the kiss, he was speechless.

Rich caught this and began to feel bad. What if Michael didn't like him back? Of course, he didn't, he used to bully him all the time. "M-Michael, I-" Rich frowned and looked down, his heart hurting once again. Before Rich could exactly say what he needed, Michael just screamed and jumped around excitedly, startling Rich. What did this mean? Did Michael like him? What was going on?

"Oh my god! Oh my gosh- you have to be serious?! You're my soulmate?! That's- Oh my gosh!" Michael said excitedly, giggling and hugging rich. Michael would usually never do this, but he took off his jacket to admire his wings. Was Rich really his soulmate? How? "I'm so sorry for screaming- I'm just so excited and I've been waiting for this moment for so long!!" Michael explained hugging Rich again. He couldn't help it, he was just so happy.

"So- uh, you aren't mad?" Rich said softly, giving him a small smile, looking into his eyes. "Will you uh.. Do you want to go out?" He asked, nervously. Michael screamed out his answer, which was a yes, hugging the boy tight, laughing, their wings both looked beautiful at the end of it all. It started with anxiety and sadness, and it ended with excitement and love. Their wings looked strange, but perfect together.

Michael's wings, from the base to the last feather, was the warm colors: Red, orange, and yellow. Rich's were the cooler colors; green, blue, and purple. When putting together, it formed the rainbow colors. "Gosh, I think I love you already."
