"Okay thanks, bye", I closed the door with one hand while the other held another bouquet of roses that Chris had sent to me. I sighed and walked over to the living room where I put the roses on the table. It was the thirteenth present that I've gotten from Chris.

But the thing was that he broke my heart six months ago. He exclaimed that the time wasn't right because he was filming and after that he would have to travel to promote the movie. He left without giving me a chance to change his mind, which hurt so much. He let me drown in my own tears while he walked away, not turning around to see how I was breaking down.

I loved him, with all my heart even though we were together for seven months, I never felt so much love for any other man before Chris. And he just threw me away without caring. It hurt me so much but I didn't sulk and whined around. No, I immediately got over him even though it was so hard, because a little piece of me still hoped that he would appear at my door and beg me to take him back....But that didn't happen so I moved on.

Until two months ago when I stepped back into the dating world. I went on a few dates that didn't up becoming more, until now. I was seeing this great guy named Adam. I didn't look too far ahead of what we were doing. I enjoyed really enjoyed his company. So we were currently about to go on our sixth date.
