A bright, shining beacon
Perches high within the dark night sky,
Guiding three uncertain fellows
To a special, newborn babe within the heart of a cozy barn.Born amongst the tame animals of the stable,
A King rests within the wooden manger,
Bundled with soft cloths to keep Him warm.Gifts are brought from faraway lands
To be presented specially to Mary's precious Lamb of God,
By the three wisemen bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. These distinguished foreigners have traveled far across the earth,
Having followed the light of the Star of Bethlehem
To visit the King of the Jews on the day his of birth.
