Shrouded in cold winter snow,
Tall, gentle giants stand against the pale morning glow,
Their evergreen branches damp. Here they stand, remaining as strong as a fierce combatant
With an unwavering will to keep their bushy green pelts. This relentless cold cannot contain them,
And these evergreen pines will abide
By the laws of their determined nature
To see the distant, kind warmth of spring once again.
