Huddled together mid-flight,
Feathered wings arched in a diligent poise,
Adolescent fledglings flock as one
In their vital, yearly traverse
To be absent from the bitter, annual cold.Bravery lodged within the centre of their beating hearts,
Persevering birds soar across the vast, cloudy expanse,
Drowning amidst deep, vibrant azures
Whilst trekking towards a warm paradise
Beckoning them onwards to its peaceful, serene oasis,
Taut and brimming with a variety of healthy green plant life.
