Gorgeous, carved flakes crafted from the purest of snow,
Drifting down to the earth in a sluggish plummet
From the dark, tumultuous clouds hanging above.Gracefully, you descend to our world,
Accompanied by this cold weather during this special time of year.
You, little, intricate flakes, sparkle like the finest of crystals,
Yet you obtain the paleness of a blank canvas leaning upon its trusty wooden easel for support. One flake at a time, you caress the diverse terrain in a sweet embrace,
Obscuring the grass and plant life with a cold, freezing blanket.
The flowers, colorful with vibrant splotches and patterns, hibernate to protect themselves until spring's soothing warmth arrives.Winter is a delicate wonder that plunges the world into something unlike any other season.
The world is full of pretty white flakes,
Which are the cause of our precious, annual snowfall.
These innocent, harmless white heaps that coat our earth provoke joyful smiles worldwide,
And these happy grins originate from countless individuals at a time.It matters not what age you are, or what your heritage is made up of.
Anyone whom is aware of joy's enthusiastic influence can appreciate these intriguing frozen beauties. The snowflakes are falling, bringing a unique beauty to this place.
They descend from the heavens with grace,
Like a swan whom has made her debut at a tranquil lake.
The snowflakes are arriving to our world.
Can you see the frozen beauties?
