real life rants from another teenager

s . c . h . o . o . l

the only thing i can cook is an egg sandwich. i can't live on egg sandwiches for the rest of my life. that's boring. i don't do boring. i wanna cook something extravagant. a crème brulee or something.

s.c.h.o.o.l. the six cruel hours of our lives. six plus hours of friends, learning, cramming, studying, lunch, gym, and more learning, cramming, and studying. and gym.

school sucks, that's all i can say about it. my school has stairs...ugh. any person would've thought that it would be cool to have a more "modern" school, but it's really not. all they did was add more technology to make it "cooler", try to fool us into thinking we had 10 minutes off of our school day, and give us stairs. they gave us stairs, because everybody wants to walk up a flight of stairs every day for 3 out of the 4 classes they have. every. day.

lunch is 25 minutes. enough said.

no matter what school you go to or how your school looks, it's still the same. same crappy teachers, same crappy students, same crappy work. it's still school. unless you're homeschooled. if you're homeschooled, then you're just around whoever teaches you all the time.

s.c.h.o.o.l is the reason students look foward to breaks. winter break, thanksgiving break, summer. we look foward to breaks just to have them blow up in our faces. for example, all the kids at school last year were super excited for winter break. during winter break, there was a whole lotta snow, so we were out of school for about 2 1/2 weeks instead of 1. when we came back to school, we learned that there was gonna be 10 minutes added to our school day, and there was gonna be another day added to the school year before summer break.

everyone's reaction: bs.

the best part about school is the people, imo.

school is boring, or as my science teacher would say, "Boron". (which is actually kinda funny 😆)

all in all, school is s.c.h.o.o.l. the six cruel hours of our lives.

i just wanted to say that i don't mcfrickin own this spoken word/slam poem. i just recently watched it for the first time and got inspired to write a chapter. but fr fr, y'all should check out his channel. his content is amazing and if you like slam poetry/spoken word, this is the youtube channel for you. okay, gotta go to Chick-Fil-A.
