Y'ALL WHY DID I JUST FIND THIS PUMPKIN EMOJI I-🎃🎃🎃
sorry, i got excited

okay, back to the main topic.

recently, i've been watching a lot of videos about politics and different controversies. i have always considered myself to be an open minded person and i have always tried to catch myself when i showed any kind of bias or negative judgement. i also try to be as careful as possible when sharing my opinions by making sure that my words are clearly portrayed in the way i mean them to be. i believe that is what makes me great at writing: knowing about all sides of a story and understanding and accepting, even if i don't fully agree with someone else's views. in the midst of educating myself and taking in as many different points of view as i can - as well as applying my own - i have come to the realization that what the world needs to do is find an equilibrium in all aspects of life.

there are as many views on a situation as there are educated people in the world. it could be any situation, whether it's about parenting styles or racial justice or religion or anything else. there are never only two sides, and no one has to choose one of the two. if we ever only chose one side, it would be war - a violent disagreement based on the belief that a corresponding side is right and the other is wrong, with or without context.

now, this is probably contradictory on my part, and i apologize if it is, but there is such thing as a right and a wrong. what i am currently arguing is that the wrong is choosing a side and the right is coming to that compromise - a place of equality where everyone gains benefit. some things will be lost, as it is a compromise and it wouldn't be if there weren't ups and downs for everyone involved.

i know that it will be difficult to find a place of equality in many situations, but it is possible. so, yeah. that's my hot-take. if you didn't like it, i hope we can make a compromise.

ummm, so yeah. just a little thought i had amidst the chaos that is america.

(biden better come through and show out with this plan fr-)

every term in this chapter is also my definition, as it is my book and i'm pretty sure i'm smart (i honestly dfk sometimes lollll)

this idea actually came about after seeing the newest controversy revolving everyone's favorite manly man, harry styles, as well as a youtube video in which kevonstage, a comedian, talks about how black parents parent their children. there may be a future rant about harry though. it's like 5am and i have nothing to do (except ya know, go to school tomorrow but we don't worry about that). i might write it tomorrow. or today, technically. well, good ni- er, morning.

peace. 😷✌🏽
