Today was one of those rare days I didnt have training with Le'ou. Yet I still found myself by the Lake partaking in my own set. It had been a while since I had excercised my abilities. An I had to admit finally taking time to myself to do so was relaxing.

It reminded me of the old days in the lab. When one of my extended cousins would give me my task for the day. An the Doc would fuss over me, not wanting me to overdue it.

I really really missed Dr.Heinburg and the others. Especially Mary. What I wouldnt give for her words of wisdom right now. She always knew what to say when I was down.

I sighed and shook away the thoughts of my loved ones.

I turned my focus completely on the task at hand, moving my arms around as my powers took over and my eyes began to glow. A large portion of water had rose and was bending to my will. I was making shapes out of it for fun when I heard someone walk up behind me.

At first I tensed up because I thought it might be Kai'to. After last night I wasn't in any rush to see him.

I had waited up for a long time after dinner. Jake, Norm and Grace had already turned in for the night and told me they'd save me some food when I decided to turn in.

I sat around for an hour before giving up and deciding to head back to home tree. As I was walking back I heard voices and turned to see Peyral giggling and hanging off Kai'to's arm. They seemed to just be getting back and very cozy and comfortable with one another. When she spotted me Peyral smirked and leaned up and pecked his cheek. An whispered in his ear.

Kai'to look towards me and his eyes widened.

I began to shake. An not wanting to see anything else gave a tight smile and turned to quickly head back to home tree, so I could leave the link.

Kai'to called out to me, but whatever Peyral said seemed to stop him from coming after me.

The thoughts of last night consumed me and my hold on the water instantly dropped and the water splashed back into the lake.

"Nova! Ive been looking for you everywhere!" Jake said coming up beside me.

I sighed and tried to gain concentration again. The water was back in front of me and I began bending it again.

"Well. Surprise. You found me." I replied annoyed at being bothered.

Jake came up and sat on the rock. He didnt say anything for a long time and I caved and looked down at him. He was analyzing me and I huffed and let the water drop once more before turning to give him my full attention.

"What Jake?"

He raised an eyebrow. "I think I should be asking you that. Norm said you skipped breakfast with the tribe an ran off. "Jake tossed me a fruit I didnt realize he was holding.

"You never skip meals. Whats up?" Jake continued.

I shrugged, sat down and took a bite of the fruit.

"Its obviously something."

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "If I wanted to talk about it I would have sought you out Jake. Can you please let this drop? Im just not ready."

Jake watched me for a moment. "Fine."

I gave him a grateful look. "Thank you."

We sat there for a long moment before he spoke.

"I made a clean kill today. I head to the moutains for ikinmaya in few days time."

My eyes go wide and I gasped in excitement. I jump on Jake and give him a big hug.
