Andy's POV
I slowly open my eyes to the bright room, we must've forgotten to shut curtains last night, as it's practically blinding in here.
I look over and see Alice still asleep. She looks like an angel, so peaceful, and beautiful.
I remember her saying she had something to tell me, it's been going through my mind ever since. It seems serious, and it worries me. I still need to find out why her mom kicked her out, surely it's not over hair?
Though her mom was kind of a bitch, I don't think she would go that far. She's looks so peaceful, I can't bear to wake her. So I very slowly get out of bed, grab a shirt, my phone, and head downstairs.
I check my phone, carelessly scrolling through notifications, my eyes barely even focused on the screen. My mind is totally filled with her, and the butterflies in my stomach have basically moved in.
As I go around the room picking up the beer bottles from last night, my mind is drifting back years."What are you talking about, Chance? There's no way she likes me" I whisper to my best friend, as I stare up through my bangs at the girl sitting across from us. I had been seeing her around school for a while now, but I was way too nervous to speak to her. She was so beautiful. Tall, and slender, pitch black hair and bright green eyes. The way she dressed was always androgynous, and i wouldn't admit it, but i loved that.
Her skin was so pale, but still bright with life, and a smile was often on her lips.
It was like somebody had drawn my ideal girl, and made her a reality.I sighed happily, placing bottles down on my kitchen counter.
"Whatcha thinking about?" I hear from behind me, it shocks me and brings me fully back to the present. I turn around and see Alice standing in the doorway, a smirk on her face. "Nothing" I blush, turning my head in an attempt to hide it.
"Well it's clearly something, you've been walking around in a daze for the last ten minutes" she smiles, walking closer towards me. As she comes near a get a waft of...men's cologne?
"Just...reminiscing" I mumble, still trying to hide my face, this time with my hair.
"Cute" she says with a smile, then suddenly snapping her mouth shut, the blush now moving to her face instead. I can't help but chuckle.
"Nah, you're cute" I grin.
Her eyes snap up to meet mine, and I'm transfixed by her gaze. Those green eyes, I never forgot their beauty."Listen, Aly, about last night.." I start "I'm really sorry I went too far" I say, looking down in shame. "No, don't be sorry. I'd have loved it, but, I knew you wouldn't want to after what I need to say" she replied.
My stomach sunk, possiblitys rushing through my head, what could it be?
"What could be so bad I wouldn't want to kiss you?" I ask, anxiety running through me.
She looks up at me, eyes wide and teary."I'm transgender"
