17. Wide Eyes.

Sodapops POV.

When we realized that it was Skyler we all quickly rushed to the house to see how badly injured she was. It was too dark to tell while we were outside. Plus I needed to know who did this to her.
Once we got to the house I quickly opened the door and held it open for Darry to come through with Skyler. He gently but quickly laid her down onto the couch to get a good look at the damage done.
She had bruises and cuts and just looked physically and mentally drained. We still don't know what happened to her in that time she was missing.
Dally went and got a rag, wet it and put it on her forehead to see if she would wake up. Maybe it'll make her feel the lightest bit better. Cameron slowly came into the room and looked at Skyler. Not one bit of concern in her eyes. There was a gleam in her eyes but no concern. "Oh dear, what happened to her?"
She was faking it. I could tell. I don't know what's wrong with her right now but she isn't my concern.
Skyler is.

Skyler finally started to wake up. All of the boys crowded around her but I knew that with everyone so close as soon as she wakes up she's bound to be in a panic. "Guys, back up! We don't want her to pass out again!" Everyone backed up a little bit as she opened her eyes. She looked around confused and worried. Darry touched her shoulder while he was standing behind the couch. She quickly whipped around and moved back so fast you'd think she would have whiplash.
"Woah! Calm down Skyler! I'm not gonna hurt you!" She slowly looked around more, breathing hard. We all looked at each other and then back at her. She looked like a wild animal that's never been around humans.
She finally spoke, "What happened?" She seemed to be in a panic but trying to stay calm.
"That's what we were gonna ask you, you disappeared yesterday and it took us forever to find you." Darry explained in a calm voice.
Her eyes widened. She remembers.
Her head whips around to Cameron and she points yelling, "It was her! It was all her! She sent them after me! I yelled for help and she laughed in my face!" We all looked between the two girls glaring at each other.
Darry steps protectively in front of Skylar and asked Cameron "is this true Cameron?" She looked back and forth at all of us. "You can't be serious! You actually believe her?! She's probably just delirious!"
Darry walked toward Cameron and grabbed her elbow, "we'll go home for now, we'll learn whether it's true or not later." He took her outside to make sure she was gonna actually leave.
When he walked back in he closed the door and looked at Sky again.
"Now Skylar, I'm gonna need you to tell me everything that happened."
