Chapter Thirty Three

We left all the bags in the car and just got out once we arrived at uncles house. Mira was awake now and she got so excited when she recognized the house.

"Piky?" She asked me happily.

"Yes." I smiled "Piky is here."

She hugged me happily then ran to Jem who had the door open, waiting for all of us to come in. Jem ruffled her hair then pointed to where the hedgehogs cage was. Elena appeared at the door and she smiled softly at Robin who just tensed and looked at the ground.

"Hey, Elena." I grinned as I walked to them.

"Yun! And Jun too, I'm so glad to see you both." She smiled

"Has Jewel been bothering you?"

"No, no! Jewel is amazing."

"We're best buddies." Jewel stuck her tongue out to me as she interwined her arm with Elena "Let's go inside and leave all these boys out here."

Jem grinned as he watched them go inside before facing us. "Yun and Jun, you honestly never fail to surprise me. You're heros, you know. In all of our opinio–"

"Shh!" Jun interuppted him "Save it until we get Mia, okay? Then we would really like a long speech from each one of you about how amazing we are and..." He looked at me for suggestions "Maybe, I don't know, your first born as a sacrifice or something, deal?"

Jem and I burst out laughing in surprise.

"Okay sure!" Jem laughed. "Deal."

Jun patted Robin's back "Deal, Robin?"

Robin smiled at him. "Jun, you're funny." He mentioned, making Jun suddenly freeze. He blushed and laughed uncertainly.

"And you're so blunt, what's up with that!" He laughed.

"On other news," I faced Jem "I met Rayne."

"What?!"

"Your frie–"

"I know who Rayne is! What do you mean you met him??"

I shrugged "Exactly what it actually means. He was on the plane on the way back and he sat next to me."

"Wait wait a moment." Jem stayed quite for a while before whispered "What. Are you sure it was the Rayne I know?"

"Hmm, let's see." I started "He's tall, has a lip piercing, black hair, Latin tattoo on his neck, his arm filled with tattoos about death and space."

Jem stared at me.

"Mira became friends with him actually."

Jem frowned in confusion. "He's good with kids?" Jem asked in disbelief.

"If you look at Mira's arm, there's a drawing that he did. Is he a tattoo artist?"

"Uh, yes he is. It seems like you really did meet Rayne, that bastard."

"Did you fight?" I asked "I mean, I would assume you calling him bastard is just your friend thing but when I told him to come visit you here, he didn't want to come. Are you guys still friends?"

Jem laughed "Of course we are! We've never fought before actually."

"He said you were sappy."

Jem scoffed "Let him say what he wants, that nerd."

"Nerd?!" I laughed "He hardly looks like one!"

"Doesn't mean he isn't." Jem shrugged "He is the biggest nerd I've met in my life. More than Jewel. I'll ask in detail later but for now- Robin!" Jem exclaimed happily, pulling Robin into another hug before dragging him inside the house. Jun and I grinned at each other and followed them in. We greeted Uncle Ken then sat down all of us at the kitchen while Elena and Jewel cooked.
