The Six Renegade Lunas

Chapter 10 - Cornered

This is going to be a really short chapter, sorry!

Isabella's P.O.V

The next morning I woke up bright and early while everyone was still exhausted. I decided to make myself useful and go hunting. I ran into the forest and shifted after leaving a note for my pack. I chased a few deer, killing one and dragging it back to the cave before heading out again. Eventually, I got close the area we ran away from yesterday. Then, I heard some voices. Out of instinct, I dropped down to the ground to hide. My eyes widen as I recognize my mate's voice and the other alphas. They were discussing us! Carson was the one speaking to all the warriors assembles,

"No one harms a hair upon any of the girls heads. However feel free to kill any white wolves you see." He turned to the other alphas and started a whispered conversation, "I think that the Lunas are travelling alone and that they are running away from us." Aiden, Sam's mate, replied,

"Obviously, they have a leader in one of the girls or otherwise. Each of the girls methodically left with either the help of the white wolves or something." Alex, Elina's mate, added,

"Maybe the white wolves cut them loose because of our hunting." Christopher, Emma's mate, also mentions,

"We have to hunt those white wolves after this. There was only five of them before, so it is easier for them to complete the prophecy." Jason, Emilia's mate, boldly proclames,

"I believe I speak for all of you when I say we will not leave here without our Lunas." Everyone nods and Daniel, Miya's mate makes one last comment,

"How strange it is for all of our Lunas to be travelling together?" I gasp. If they followed through that line of thought, they could put pieces together that I did not want them to understand. Also, I am in my wolf form which they just said could be killed. Shit! I need to distract them, so I do what I have to do. I pop up and growl at the alphas. At first, they are shocked, but they quickly start shifting. I am already running away. I need to confuse my trail which I do. I mind-link to the others what I have found out and give the order that no one is to be in their wolf forms from now on outside the cave. I run for two hours or so to make sure I have lost them before heading to the cave. 

I shift in the cave with everyone crowding around me, wanting to know the details about what happened. I get dressed and hold up my hand for silence which they give me. I explain,

"They have started to work together to get us. They will never give up, they said as much. The Alphas also gave the order to kill any white wolves they see, so we cannot be seen as wolves. No matter what! If we want to end this on our terms, we have to do our plan this after noon." I look outside, it is only noon. I gather the stuff we need for our plan and everyone follows suit : we take water, food, some revealing clothing, and silver knives. 

We are all currently wearing some comfortable clothing to run to our chosen location. It is another clearing with another cliff blocking the back. We did not want anyone to be able to get behind us. The step before going to the location is to leave our scent straight there. Our mates will not be able to help themselves and will follow. Then, once at our destination, we would change with other clothing. Each of us wore what would distract our individual mates the most the most when it came time to our plan. We waited an hour before we heard howling nearby. They must have finally picked up our scent.  I started a game with my pack while we waited for our mates arrival. Finally, we heard them arriving. Everyone slipped their silver knives somewhere hidden on their body. No one but white werewolves could stand silver to make sure that no one took away the knives. 

I hear heavy breathing behind me and I knew the Alphas have arrived. I turn around and to the six alphas surrounding my pack said,

"Took you long enough, boys!" Then, I nod to my pack. It was time to put our plan into motion.
