Isabella's P.O.V.

Elina couldn't be dead. I won't let her die. It's not possible. No! No! Never! I murmured,

"I won't let her die. I will not allow it." My wolf agreed,

"Not today or tomorrow." Then something big happened.

Third Person's P.O.V.

Everyone had formed a circle around Isabella. Rogue and other all astounded at the level of her grief. They had all seen her fight, and no one wanted to fight against her. Now, no one was fighting, just watching as Isabella howled out her grief. They were amazed at several things: the fact that Alex let Isabella touch his mate; her grief and her actions. They heard her speak,

"I won't let her die. I will not allow it." She looked up at them. Her glare contained so much sadness and so much anger. It made whoever she looked at cringe. No one, not even the Alphas, stood up to her. Everyone just watched this scene. The battle long forgotten as everyone was drawn to Isabella.

Suddenly, everyone jumped back because Isabella's hands began to glow. A brave soul asked,

"Izzy, what do you need?" Isabella answers,

"Like with the warlock." The brave girl who had asked nodded at some other girls who came around, holding each others hands. They were all connected and the glow of Isabella's hands on Elina grew stronger. Under the stupefied eyes of everyone, Elina took a breath.

Isabella's P.O.V.

I looked up to see what I could do to bring Elina back. I made eye contact with each and every person in the circle around me. I channeled all of my anger and grief into that stare. All of the stepped back. I turned back to Elina and focused on her. I was chanting in my head,

"I am a white wolf. I can do this. I won't let her die." I felt my hands grow warmer, but did not look down to stay focused. Then, Emma asked me in a low voice that no one else could hear,

"How are your hands glowing?" I didn't look at her, but answered,

"The determination of a white wolf." I finally looked at my hands, and they were glowing. I was doing something, but it was not enough. It was a fact that I knew, so when Emilia questioned,

"Izzy, what do you need?" I told her,

"Like with the warlock," because maybe if we were all connected, all the white wolves, our power would be enough to save Elina. So, that is what we did. I felt a hand on either of my shoulders and saw the glow in my hand grow stronger. I smiled, it was working. I do not know how long we stood there. To me, it seemed like an eternity, but I believe it was just a minute. I could feel Alex hoping beyond hope that I would save his mate.

Then, Elina took a breath. Everyone around us gasped in shock. Alex came to her other side and asked me,

"Is she saved?" I answered,

"Yes, she will awake in a couple minutes." I got up and saw that around me the fighting was still frozen. But why? I questioned them,

"Why are we no longer fighting?" That seemed to break everyone out of their trance and they resumed the fight. I mean it is not like I wanted them to keep fighting, I just wanted to know what they were staring at. By all means, the rogues and Alphas should never have stopped fighting at the death of a compatriot. I realize right then the consequences of showing our powers. We needed to fix that, so I told my pack loudly enough for everyone to hear,

"The warlock was right, he managed to transfer enough healing powers into us for one save!" At first, the others looked confused, but quickly caught on. Sam continued,

"Yeah, we should really ask your cousin, the warlock to give us some of more of these powers." That should make everyone think that a warlock had given us a living saving power for one attempt. It could dissuade people of thinking other things. I quickly noticed how no rogues approached my group. Not that I was complaining, just perplexed. Behind me, I heard Elina say,

"What happened?" I turn around and rush to her side,

"We saved you."

"How? The last thing I remember is a rogue jumping on me and piercing my heart." With those words, I remember that even though Elina is saved, someone tried to kill her, a fact I had nearly forgotten. This made me furious. With my grief gone, all that was left was anger.

My wolf took control.
