Isabella's P.O.V
It had only taken our mates 5 hours to find a witch and break down a barrier, rather impressive. Luckily, we had finished the ceremony. I look sadly at Andrew and say,
"Move your house and protections, but leave us behind." That was one of Andrew's big powers, teleportation. He could move whole houses if he had to. And right now he had to. My pack and I had the bargaining tool, our lives. We had to confront them once again. Andrew looks back at me and hugs me before saying,
"If you ever need me, my location will appear in your mind." With that, he gathers his powers around him and disappears with his house. Now, we are currently outside in the cold. Elina is the first one to speak,
"That sure is a cool party trick. I really need to learn it." She is trying to joke around, but no one laughs. I eventually order,
"Everyone up in a tree! Just because we are letting ourselves be captured, it does not mean it will be easy." My pack obeys my command and up we go. Just two minutes later, our mates appear. Immediately, their heads jerk up as they follow our scent. Each of us looks at our mate straight in the eyes. A mouvement their wolves can only interpret it as one thing, defiance. They growl. As Alphas, they hate when they are defied. Everyone but me drops their eyes because they are less dominant. I however match everyone's eyes. Our mates cock their head at this development as if they are saying how interesting. I wonder how they plan to get us down because no one is going anywhere. The mates growl the order in their alpha tone,
"GET DOWN!" It is amazing how they manage to speak in wolf form. I sit there wondering if they really think it was going to work when I realize that everyone else is climbing down. Using my Alpha tone, I command,
"STOP! CLIMB BACK UP!" There is a moment where no one moves. You can see that my pack is having a struggle with the contradicting orders. My order wins! Good! The Alphas though did not see it coming. They are now climbing back up to me. What is our mates plan B? Slowly, the Alphas approach the tree and jump on it. This causes the tree to sway. It takes me a second to realize they want to knock the tree over. Fuck! I did not see it coming. I yell to th others,
"Hold on!" as a final push knocks us and the tree down. In a fluid motion as they tree falls, I jump off and motion for the others to do the same. I successfully complete the action and land on my feet. The others have varying degrees of success. I does not matter anyway because our mates are on us in seconds. We could technically knock them off with white wolf strength but the entire point is to keep hidden. I look straight in Carson's wolf eyes. Wonderful, his wolf has control. Not what I need right now! I let him breath in my scent to call down some before getting him mad again.
A couple minutes later, I am sick of waiting for our mates to get off of us, so I announce,
"Get off of us or I will kill them!" They look scared for a second, but then basically laugh in their wolf form. This makes me rather mad. They have no idea what I am capable of! That sounds like a villain in a really bad movie, I did not know I had it in me. I say again,
"Last warning, get off of us or we die!" They don't budge. Well, I did warn them. I close my eyes and focus on the life of my pack. I tell their heart to start beating slower. It listens because of Andrew's magic. I open my eyes, and see all the Alphas staring at me. I chuckle and tell them,
"Don't you enjoy the quiet? I can't even hear my pack's heartbeat." This makes our Alphas jerk back to their respective mates and try to listen to their heartbeat. I yell at them,
"If you want me to bring them back get the fuck off!" Everyone does but Carson. I know why: my heartbeat is not slowing down. I have no control over my own heart. I warn the others,
"Get Carson off me or I will kill your mates!" Everyone reacts immediately and pulls Carson off of me. I close my eyes and focus onto the heartbeats again. I tell them to beat at regular time and they obey. Honestly, the only way this power could be better if we could bring them back from the dead which is sadly not possible. I get up and move in front of my pack to protect them as they sit up. I turn to our mates and tell them,
"Go shift!" They hesitate. "We have no where else to go. We could have gone with the warlock, but we didn't. Either way, this place is most likely surrounded by warriors, so we are not going anywhere." That decided them and they left to shift. I was thankful no one thought it would be a good idea to shift naked in front of us. That was a good sign. When our mates returned, their faces were unreadable. I put on my brightest smile and said,
"Now we can discuss a new deal."
