Isabella's P.O.V

The fact that Carson was chasing me sunk in. What the fuck is this shit? I am honestly running from my mate, again! The Alphas had made a plan to get us, but what is it? When we were making out, I thought he was going to mark me without my consent. I speed up a little more, at the top of my alpha speed and beginning of my white wolf one. That must be it! They were going to mark us and mate with us to work their way around the deal. The bastards! Through the forest, I see Sam running towards the house too. She had been on a hike. Emma is also running, she was on a picnic. Elina was already at the house. I spot Miya ahead of us running, she was wandering through the forest. I am so going to kill our mates when this is over! I make it into the house first, opening the door. Once everyone comes in, I shut it on our mates' faces. I turn and see Alex on top of a helpless Elina. I stalk over. He was so involved that he did not notice me. What a sad excuse for an Alpha! I pulled him off and threw him out of the window. This makes our mates who are outside take a pause. I yell out of the window,

"Guards!" They rush in. "The Alphas have used their one violation exemption of the deal. Escort them off the premise and inform them to return in a week!" I feel everyone is shocked that I said I was keeping the deal even though they broke their part. In my defense, I had no intention of staying here. I just needed them to be far away to run for it. I gesture at my pack to be silent. We wait for an hour to be sure everyone is gone. I question,

"What the hell happened?" Elina says,

"I was kissing Alex and he-he tried to mark me! I saw it coming though and mind-linked you. Is that what happened to you?" Everyone nods, including me. I curse,

"Shit! Shit! They were just pretending to be the nice guy in order to mark us and make sure we could never run where they couldn't track us. Shit! Fuck them! Fuck this shit!" I continue in that vein for a while, using all the curse words I knew in five languages before Emma asks in a scared voice,

"What will we do?" I smile,

"They believe that I think that Alex is the only one doing something stupid. They think we will stay. Remember what I told them that they could come back in one week. Well, in one week, I do not plan on being here. I do not plan on being in the U.S. at all." Sam wonders,

"How on earth will we do that?"

"Easy! Run to Canada and take a plane or boat to France. I have relatives who hate the bloodthirsty packs and would love to annoy them by hiding us. Let's be honest it will be safe for a couple months before we have to move on. The question is are you okay with running again?" Everyone nods solemnly. "Good. We will leave tonight and I will inform the guards if they tell anyone we are not in the house, I will cut off their tongue and their manhood. That should shut them up." We all separate to get our hidden to-go bags. Personally, I have one in every room of the house and a couple in the forest. I also have some hidden in the human town. What can I say, I'm paranoid. I go outside to talk with the guards.

*That night*

We had waited patiently to leave under the cover of darkness. It was definitely the best time to run away. Something I have to do more frequently lately. I use the front door to leave. There was no point in sneaking around until we left the house. All the guards were properly scared of me and would not tell a soul unless threatened with something important. Once we are in the forest, I shift to wolf form to scout ahead. After two hours of walking, the neutral territory ends and we arrive in a different one. I had no idea whos though. Our dearest Alphas refused to tell me the exact location of our house to stop me from leaving. Ha! I did it anyway. It does not matter right now because now we are free.

*One day later*

Third person's P.O.V

All the Alphas were meeting to discuss their failed plan about their mates. Carson starts them off,

"Alex, you idiot! You forgot to block Elina's mind-link so she called for help! I was so close to marking my mate, but the moment she knew Elina was in danger she ran." Aiden agrees,

"Same here! She did not even notice that I was trying to mark her. It was you who set them off.
" Everyone nods to agree with this statement. It set off a long rant from the men about stupid women. Apparently, they are still salty about being outsmarted by Isabella/Izzy.

Suddenly, they all felt a very familiar pain in their chest. They look at each other and said,

"Mate!" It was the pain they felt from severe separation from their mates. Their bond had grown stronger because they had spent more time together. By common consent, our Alphas rush down the stairs and into their cars, scaring the pack members who were staying at the house. These pack members got out of the way quickly because no one liked the look on the Alphas' faces, a look that meant someone had pissed them off and they wanted to kill them.

When the Alphas arrived at the house, the guards tried desperately to get them to stay outside,

"Luna Isabella would kill you and us if you were to enter. Please don't!" They were ignored much to their dismay. The Alphas left them in their wake, worrying about the continued health of their manhood and tongue.

Carson entered first and stopped short. The others came in too and stopped. The mates had run again. But this time she left a note. I was from Isabella:

Dear mate and alphas,

If you cannot keep a single deal where you win in the end, how can we trust you at all? I saw through your plan to mark us to keep us. It might be a week since we ran because you were healing your stupid pride at the failure of your plan. Maybe, I am not giving you enough credit. It might be the day after we left. You wouldn't know anyway. I leave this note to tell you we are running away again, not kidnapped by white wolves. Thank you for pretending to be decent people for a couple days, so at least my poor pack and I could experience what a real mating could be. I think you were sick of the nice guy façade and I saw who you truly are Carson and the same goes for the others. I would ask you not to look for us, but you wouldn't listen. I know that one day you will catch up to us. But I promise you I will not go quietly! Also, do not bother to question the guards, they are more scared of me than you.

Lots of love,

Isabella; Elina; Sam; Miya; Emilia; and Emma

A single tear rolls down Carson's cheek, but he quickly wiped it away. In a gruff voice, he orders his warriors,

"Get our trackers! Find your Luna!" They leave, running to do as he says. Some of them go to question the guards anyways but it is half-hearted. The pain in their chest at separation gets stronger every second. It is ignored by all like the gaping hole in their heart.

The one thought that is going through all the Alphas head is

"What have I done?"
